Stafford (concussion), officially listed as questionable, is unlikely to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford hasn't been officially ruled out, but he'll need to clear concussion protocol by Sunday morning in order to suit up, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. He's reportedly shown progress throughout the week, so the Rams are trying to give him as much time as possible prior to declaring him out. If Stafford is unable to clear protocol, John Wolford would serve as the Rams' starting quarterback.

Stafford (concussion) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford's return to practice at the end of the week gives him at least some chance to play Sunday, after he was placed in concussion protocol Tuesday and held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. The Rams will turn to backup quarterback John Wolford if Stafford isn't cleared by the team's medical staff and an independent neurologist before Sunday. The Rams and Cardinals are scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Stafford (concussion) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, with head coach Sean McVay noting Friday that the quarterback is "making good progress," Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford entered the NFL's concussion protocol Tuesday and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. He'll now take the field Friday and hope to be cleared by an independent neurologist over the weekend before the Rams and Cardinals kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Stafford (concussion) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With no activity yet since entering the concussion protocol Tuesday, Stafford could be destined for his first absence since joining the Rams in January 2021. The only glimmer of hope may be that he was able to take in the second session of Week 10 prep in street clothes on the side, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Still, if Stafford remains a DNP on Friday, coach Sean McVay could clear up the entire situation by ruling him out and/or naming backup John Wolford the starting quarterback for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals.

Stafford (concussion) was present but not in practice gear for Thursday's session, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com and Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, Stafford initially wasn't seen on the field Thursday, but his lack of the aforementioned gear after showing up likely implies that another DNP is on tap to kick off Week 10 prep. Stafford entered the protocol for head injuries Tuesday, so he may not have enough time to complete all five phases before Sunday's contest against the Cardinals. If the preceding comes to pass and Stafford is inactive, John Wolford is next up to direct the Rams offense.

Stafford (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, Rams coach Sean McVay revealed Wednesday that Stafford was put in the concussion protocol Tuesday based on his discussion with team physicians in the aftermath of a loss to the Bucs this past Sunday. If Stafford isn't cleared before Sunday's game against Arizona, the already-struggling Rams offense will be led by backup QB John Wolford.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Stafford is in the concussion protocol, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford struggled to move the offense during this past Sunday's 16-13 loss at Tampa Bay, where he completed 13 of 27 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown, was sacked four times and overall took eight quarterback hits. Now that he's in the concussion protocol, Stafford is subject to its five phases in order to gain clearance for game action. Wednesday's injury report may give an indication of Stafford's current standing in the protocol. If he's able to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity, he could be on a path to playing Sunday versus the Cardinals.

Stafford completed 13 of 27 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
It was a rough day for both offenses, but Stafford wound up with one of his worst performances of the year, setting a new season low in passing yards and completing fewer than 50 percent of his passes for the first time as a Ram. His offensive line once again struggled against any kind of pass rush, and the veteran QB was sacked four times -- the fourth time in the last six games he's been brought down that often. Stafford will hope to get enough time in the pocket to rebound in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Stafford completed 22 of 33 pass attempts for 187 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for a loss of one yard and another touchdown in Sunday's 31-14 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Stafford scored his first rushing touchdown since 2016, saving what would have been a down fantasy day in terms of passing stats. The bad news for the veteran signal-caller is that Cooper Kupp (ankle) left the game late, so Stafford could be without his top wideout -- and seemingly only reliable receiver -- next Sunday against the Buccaneers. With or without Kupp, it will be a tough matchup for Stafford against a defense that ranks sixth in yards allowed to opposing quarterbacks (194.0 per game).

Stafford completed 26 of 33 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown with one interception in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran quarterback struggled early once again and threw a pick-six to Donte Jackson that resulted in the Rams heading into halftime down 10-7. Stafford turned things around in the second half however, eliminating further miscues and guiding Los Angeles to 17 unanswered points. He's committed at least one turnover in all but one game so far this season, but Stafford seems to be righting his ship and will get the Rams' bye week to prepare ahead of a Week 8 clash with the 49ers.
