Marlon Brown (hamstring) is inactive for Week 5 against the Dolphins.
Brown was only able to practice on a limited basis Friday and will be held out this week. Jacoby Jones (knee) has also been ruled out and will miss his fourth straight game. After releasing Brandon Stokley on Saturday, the Ravens are down to just three healthy receivers on their active roster.

The Baltimore Sun reports the outlook is "positive" on Marlon Brown (hamstring) for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Dolphins.
The Ravens listed Brown as questionable on the injury report after he missed Wednesday and Thursday's practice sessions. With Jacoby Jones (knee) returning to the field, we wouldn't trust Brown as anything more than a WR3/4.

Marlon Brown (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 5 after returning to practice Friday.
He's tentatively expected to start, but isn't a fantasy option with Jacoby Jones (knee) potentially stealing snaps, and Brown's own injury problems.

Marlon Brown (hamstring) returned to Ravens practice Friday.
Brown sat out on both Wednesday and Thursday after straining his hamstring in last weekend's loss to the Bills. He's on the WR3/4 radar against Miami.

Marlon Brown (hamstring) remained out of Ravens practice Thursday.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said earlier in the week that he expected Brown to play, but he'll have to return on Friday to have a realistic shot at suiting up. Owners in a bye-week crunch need to have a contingency ready.

Marlon Brown (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.
Brown strained his hamstring in Sunday's loss, but it's not considered overly serious and the Ravens expect him to play the week. Even with Jacoby Jones (knee) on track to return, Brown isn't in danger of losing the No. 2 receiver job.

Updating a previous item, Marlon Brown strained his hamstring in Week 4.
The injury was originally reported as a thigh issue. Regardless, coach John Harbaugh said he thinks Brown has a good chance to practice this week. He needs to stay on the field and perform in order to hold off Jacoby Jones (knee) for No. 2 duties.

Ravens WR Marlon Brown sustained a thigh injury during Sunday's loss to the Bills.
Brown did most of his damage in the first half, working over Justin Rogers for a 4/34/1 line. Perhaps he slowed down in the second half due to this muscle strain. With Deonte Thompson nursing a concussion and Brandon Stokley dealing with a groin injury, the Ravens are incredibly thin at wideout.

Marlon Brown caught four passes for 34 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Bills.
The Bills had to use 5-foot-11 backup Justin Rogers on the 6-foot-5 Brown. Joe Flacco took advantage right away, using Brown's superior height to connect on a 10-yard score in the second quarter. After that, the Bills started to give Rogers more help and Flacco found openings deep with Torrey Smith. Brown is now on pace for 56 catches, 600 yards and 12 touchdowns. He's played reasonably well, but isn't a lock to keep No. 2 wideout duties when Jacoby Jones (knee) returns.

Marlon Brown (neck) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Week 4 against the Texans.
Brown hasn't seen more than six targets in any game this season and will be a dicey WR3 play against Houston. The matchup is unimposing, as Texans CBs Johnathan Joseph and Kareem Jackson have been up and down to this point.
