Brown had no targets on four offensive snaps in Thursday's 26-6 win over the Steelers. One week after playing 40-of-88 snaps, Brown was barely needed, as the Ravens held a lead all game, and primarily used two-TE formations. Jacoby Jones worked as the clear No. 3 wide receiver, logging 28 snaps, including a bunch in one-wide formations. As the apparent fourth receiver in what looks to be a balanced offense, Brown would need two injuries ahead of him to warrant fantasy consideration in most leagues. He hasn't made a case for more playing time with the snaps he's taken, and the guys ahead of him all appear to be fairly secure in their roles.

Despite playing 40 snaps, Brown had no catches on one target in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. In a game that saw the Ravens log 88 offensive plays and 62 pass attempts, Brown finished fourth among the team's wideouts in snaps, behind Torrey Smith (77), Steve Smith (64) and Jacoby Jones (48). Jones was the first to get playing time alongside the Smiths in three-wide sets, but Brown also saw a good amount of work, including some snaps in two-wide formations. Though he may get some extra playing time in the red zone, Brown doesn't have a big enough role in the offense to warrant consideration in most leagues. Had the Ravens not fallen behind early, Brown might have only played 10-20 snaps.

Brown had no receptions on two targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins. Brown once again worked behind Jacoby Jones, as he appears destined for the fourth spot on the depth chart. While a nice undrafted find for the Ravens last year, Brown probably won't match his rookie receiving line of 49-524-7, which was largely the result of Joe Flacco having nobody else to throw to. As the Ravens' biggest receiver, Brown could see some extra looks in the red zone, where his height partially makes up for his lack of quickness. He may also pass Jones at some point, though the Ravens' third receiver role probably won't be a great source of fantasy production.

Brown appears to be the Ravens' fourth wide receiver, ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports. Thursday's preseason opener backed that notion, as Jacoby Jones worked as the No. 3 receiver. Torrey Smith is locked in as the top dog, but it's unclear how the Ravens will split the remaining snaps and targets. Steve Smith is expected to start but may be rotated out at times, and there's some chance that Brown and Jones could split the No. 3 duties. Though he may have a hard time finding snaps, targets and receptions this season, Brown could see a disproportionate amount of his playing time in the red zone, thanks to his 6-4 frame.

Second-year WR Marlon Brown is the "favorite" to open the season as the Ravens' No. 3 receiver. Undrafted out of Georgia, Brown tied a rookie franchise record with seven TDs last season, catching 49 passes for 524 yards. New Ravens OC Gary Kubiak made light use of No. 3 wideouts in Houston, preferring to use two-tight end sets. We expect the same concepts in Baltimore, but still wouldn't rule out re-draft value for Brown at some point. He's behind 35-year-old Steve Smith. Now is the time for fantasy owners to acquire Brown in Dynasty leagues.

The Carroll County Times suggests the Ravens could look at wide receiver in the first round of May's draft. With Dennis Pitta injured, the offensive line crumbling and Ray Rice a shell of himself, the Ravens offense went in the tank far too often this season. Getting Torrey Smith a real complement would be a big boost for Joe Flacco. The Times suggests Clemson's Sammy Watkins, Texas A&M's Mike Evans and USC's Marqise Lee as possible targets when the Ravens pick either 16th or 17th (depending on a coin flip with the Cowboys). Marlon Brown is not a projected 2014 starter.

Marlon Brown caught four passes for 51 yards in Baltimore's Week 16 loss to the Patriots. Brown also took a hard fall on his hip, but ended up missing only a few plays. A much bigger part of the Ravens offense the past three weeks, the undrafted rookie will enter Week 17 with 44 catches for 494 yards and six touchdowns.

Marlon Brown caught four passes for 31 yards in Week 15 against the Lions. Brown's catches were mainly of the chain-moving variety. He was targeted six times and drew a personal foul penalty deep down the left sideline to help get the Ravens in field-goal range. He's a WR5 for Week 16 versus New England.

Marlon Brown caught seven passes for 92 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's Week 14 win over the Vikings. Both the catches and yards were new season highs for a player who had been held to three total grabs over his past three games. Brown tied Dennis Pitta for a team-high 11 targets as CB Xavier Rhodes frustrated No. 1 receiver Torrey Smith. It's not a repeatable effort for the inconsistent rookie wideout, but puts some shine on Brown's WR5 status heading into Week 15.

Marlon Brown caught one pass for 12 yards in Week 13 against the Steelers. It was Brown's lone target on the night. After missing Week 11 with a knee injury, Brown has caught just two passes for 13 yards in two games since. He's an extremely unreliable WR4. Jacoby Jones seems to have passed him on the depth chart.
