Brown was not targeted in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Brown barely saw the field, stuck behind Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens and Jeremy Butler. Brown struggled with his limited opportunities earlier this season and has clearly fallen out of favor. His seven-touchdown rookie season in 2013 is a distant memory.

With Steve Smith (Achilles) out for the season, Brown is one of five healthy wide receivers on Baltimore's active roster, the team's official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown had seven touchdowns as an undrafted rookie back in 2013, but he's been consistently underwhelming the past two seasons, showing minimal ability to gain separation from defensive backs. He has just 13 receptions for 106 yards on 29 targets this season, making him a less interesting option than Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens and arguably even Jeremy Ross. Even with Steve Smith injured, Brown played fewer than half of the offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Chargers.

Brown caught one pass for nine yards on four targets in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Brown has been inefficient with the few opportunities he's received this season, largely because he doesn't have the quickness to separate from NFL defensive backs. It's increasingly clear that his seven-touchdown rookie campaign (2013) was just a product of Joe Flacco having nobody else to throw to. Flacco's options aren't much better this year, but Kamar Aiken is clearly ahead of Brown for the No. 2 wide receiver job. Brown is also starting to lose snaps to in-season acquisitions Jeremy Ross and Chris Givens.

Brown caught two passes for nine yards on four targets in Thursday's 23-20 overtime win over the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Baltimore entered the game without much of a receiving corps, then watched Steve Smith and Michael Campanaro exit with lower-back injuries. Brown still couldn't get anything going, whereas Kamar Aiken caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Although he has trouble getting open and hasn't done much this season, Brown could be forced into something close to an every-snap role, if Smith (back) misses any time. Should that happen, Aiken would be the more attractive option, but the Baltimore receiving corps would mostly just be a difficult mess to predict.

Brown caught two passes for 29 yards on five targets in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Although Kamar Aiken again got the starting nod over Brown, the two wideouts have been on approximately equal footing in terms of both snaps and targets through three weeks. Neither has made any kind of case to be more involved in the offense, with both showing an inability to separate from defensive backs. If Breshad Perriman (knee) ever gets healthy, he might step right into a starting role.

Brown led all Baltimore wide receivers with 70 snaps in Sunday's 37-33 loss to the Raiders, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
EDGE Analysis
Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken started for a second straight week, with Brown again serving as the clear No. 3 wide receiver. Brownonly managed two catches for 14 yards on four targets, even as Joe Flacco threw for 384 yards on 45 pass attempts. Smith should get a big chunk each week, but Baltimore's division of targets is otherwise still tough to predict.

Brown caught both of his targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Brown picked up 22 yards on a back-shoulder throw, providing the longest gain of the day in a pathetic showing by the Baltimore offense. He worked as the No. 3 wide receiver, but he could challenge Kamar Aiken for the starting job, at least until Breshad Perriman (knee) is healthy.

Brown is expected to open the season as Baltimore's No. 3 wide receiver, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
EDGE Analysis
Brown had a quiet training camp and preseason while dealing with hamstring and back injuries, but he did catch three passes (three targets) for 64 yards in Thursday's preseason finale against the Falcons. Although he's reportedly the favorite for the No. 3 wide receiver role, Brown could face competition for snaps from Michael Campanaro. Once healthy, Breshad Perriman (knee) will also provide a threat to Brown's limited role. Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken will open the season Baltimore's starting wideouts.

Brown finished the 2014 regular seasons with 24 catches for 255 yards on 31 targets.
Brown was unable to match his 49-524-7 receiving line from his rookie campaign, after the Ravens improved their stable of pass-catchers during the offseason. Brown, Kamar Aiken and Michael Campanaro all split snaps behind Steve Smith and Torrey Smith by the end of the year, which doesn't bode well for Brown's prospects in 2015. However, with Torry Smith's contract set to expire, Brown could perhaps get a crack at a larger role in 2015. Aiken and Campanaro will also be back, so Brown probably needs to compete for playing time.

Brown caught 5-of-5 targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jaguars.
Brown led the Ravens in receptions and receiving yards, but with Torrey Smith (knee) back to full health (or close to it), Brown merely worked as the No. 3 wide receiver. While unlikely to climb the depth chart in the final two weeks of the season, Brown has made a case for an expanded in 2015 by hauling in 22 of his 25 targets. Of course, there's no guarantee he'll actually get that role, as he sometimes still struggles to create separation.
