Ingram rushed six times for 27 yards while catching two of two targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 36-27 win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Despite it being a matter of days since being traded to the Saints, Ingram was active and handled eight touches in a key divisional game. That's a bump in usage compared to what the Saints gave Tony Jones (ankle), who only topped four touches once in four weeks during the Saints' Week 1 blowout of Green Bay. With no word of an impending return for Jones and quarterback Jameis Winston (knee) possibly in store for a long-term absence, Ingram could continue seeing a decent workload behind Alvin Kamara, who has averaged a seemingly unsustainable 20 carries per game this season.

Ingram relayed to Katherine Terrell of The Athletic on Friday that he "of course" expects to suit up Sunday against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to his trade from Houston to New Orleans becoming official, Ingram signed an extension with the Texans through the 2022 season, according to Field Yates of ESPN. Ingram thus is slated to be Alvin Kamara's primary backup for the foreseeable future. What Ingram's workload entails remains to be seen, but considering Kamara is averaging 23.2 touches per game the former may not get more than short-yardage work in his first game action with the Saints since 2018.

Coach Sean Payton said Thursday that there's a "good chance" that Ingram plays Sunday against the Buccaneers, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram was traded from the Texans to the Saints on Wednesday, and it appears as though he'll be able to take the field for New Orleans right away. The 31-year-old should serve as the primary backup to Alvin Kamara, especially while Tony Jones (ankle) is on injured reserve. Ingram totaled 92 carries for 294 yards and a touchdown while hauling in seven of nine targets for 24 yards across the first seven weeks of the season.

The Texans are slated to trade Ingram to the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram, who had been leading a committee backfield in Houston along with David Johnson and Phillip Lindsay, is now slated to work behind the Saints' undisputed top back, Alvin Kamara. While it's a good fit in real terms, given Ingram's previous tenure with New Orleans and the team's need for depth behind Kamara, Ingram's fantasy value likely takes a hit with the move, while both Johnson and Lindsay figure to see an uptick in touches.

Ingram had six carries for nine yards and caught all three of his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 31-5 loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
The Texans grabbed a 5-0 lead early in the second quarter on the backs of Houston's defense, which produced a safety then a short field that turned into a 53-yard Ka'imi Fairbairn field goal. Until that point, Ingram and the Texans' running game did little and finished with 42 yards and a 2.8 yards-per-attempt average. The Cardinals' offense eventually found itself and scored on four consecutive drives and Houston shelved its running game. Ingram leads the team's backs in carries but has not found the end zone since Week 1.

Ingram rushed 18 times for 73 yards and caught both of his targets for another eight in Sunday's 31-3 loss to Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram continues to see plenty of volume, having handled at least 14 carries in four of Houston's first six games. Despite the heavy workload, he hasn't found the end zone since Week 1, and Ingram's 4.1 yards per carry in this one actually marked a season high. Ingram will try to end his touchdown drought in Week 7 against the Cardinals.

Ingram recorded 16 rushes for 41 yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram accounted for 16 of the team's 24 rushing attempts and remains the clear leader of the backfield. However, that failed to translate to fantasy production, as his longest rush of the day went for eight yards and he averaged only 2.6 yards per carry. For the season, Ingram has failed to top 41 yards on the ground in each of his last four contests heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Colts.

Ingram carried the ball six times for 24 yards in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram led the team in attempts and yardage, though he continued to split work with David Johnson, Phillip Lindsay and Rex Burkhead. That split in workload combined with the Texans' inability to move the ball offensively limited Ingram to another poor performance. Since totaling 85 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against Jacksonville, Ingram has combined to produce only 86 yards combined across his last three games.

Ingram rushed six times for 21 yards and secured his only target for minus-1 yard in the Texans' 24-9 loss to the Panthers on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram's rushing yardage tally did pace the Texans on the night, but given how lackluster a game it was for the ground attack, that's faint praise. The veteran would appear to have clear possession of the lead-back role at the moment -- Phillip Lindsay logged one more carry Thursday yet averaged under 1.0 yard per tote -- but he could certainly find running room at a premium again in a Week 4 road matchup against the Bills on Sunday, Oct. 3 due rookie quarterback Davis Mills not presenting as an imposing threat to a talented Buffalo defense.

Ingram could face a Panthers defense geared to stop the run Week 3 after the Browns stacked the box with eight or more defenders 57.1 percent of the time against rookie quarterback Davis Mills, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Browns invited Mills to throw, and he completed just eight of 18 passes for 102 yards in the Week 2 loss. When Mills was on the field, Houston's ground game came to a halt, with the team gaining just 27 yards on 14 carries. As the NFL can be a copycat league, expect Ingram and fellow backs Phillip Lindsay, David Johnson and Rex Burkhead to get little room to operate against Carolina.
