Floyd (illness) is not listed on the Chargers' injury report for Sunday's game against the Jets, the team's official site reports. Floyd -- who caught three passes for 39 yards and a TD in Week 4's win over the Jaguars -- missed Wednesday's practice, but is good to go this weekend after returning to a full session Thursday and then being removed from the Chargers' injury report altogether on Friday.

Floyd (illness) returned to practice Thursday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken. Floyd sat out Wednesday's session, but his return to the field Thursday likely foreshadows a probable designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Jets.

Floyd (illness) missed Wednesday's practice, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken. We'll follow his status in the coming days, but at this stage, Floyd's Week 5 availability does not seem to be in any danger. The wideout caught three passes for 39 yards and a TD in this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars.

Floyd had three receptions on four targets for 39 yards and a touchdown on Sunday against the Jaguars. Philip Rivers had a great game spreading the ball around effectively between six different pass catchers. This week, Keenan Allen lead the team in targets and catches, but Floyd was at least fortunate to be on the receiving end of a 24-yard touchdown pass. The Bolts are not running the ball well in the early going, so you can expect them to continue to feature the pass, but it's tough to expect any more than three or four catches from Floyd in a crowded offense.

Floyd had two catches on four targets for 98 yards Sunday against the Bills. While he wasn't terribly prolific with his receptions, Floyd registered two 49-yard receptions in the game. It was a solid bounce back performance, as Floyd didn't register a catch on only one target in Week 2 against the Seahawks. Up next is a promising Week 4 matchup against the Jaguars, who allowed 390 receiving yards to the Colts in Week 3.

Floyd did not catch a pass and received zero targets on Sunday against the Seahawks. Antonio Gates was the star of this game, but it's troubling to see that Floyd was apparently an afterthought, especially because Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal had a total of 16 balls thrown their way in this game. Floyd will look to get back on the scoring sheet next week at Buffalo.

Floyd caught four of his six targets for 50 yards and a touchdown Monday night. Philip Rivers spread the ball around, but Floyd was more productive than Keenan Allen on three fewer targets. As long as Floyd's healthy, he'll have a regular role in the offense.

Floyd, now fully recovered from a career threatening neck injury, has been the MVP of Chargers training camp, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. The biggest indicator that Floyd might be all the way back to pre-injury form is his willingness to line up as an inside receiver and catch underneath passes in addition to his typical deep patterns from outside. The Chargers under Mike McCoy like to employ all of the receivers from multiple spots throughout the game, and Floyd has not batted an eye at moving around. A healthy Floyd combined with Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal could form as strong a group of wide receivers as any in the league this year.

Floyd caught two passes for 30 yards on three targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks. Seemingly past the scary spinal cord injury he dealt with last season, Floyd is well positioned to reclaim his role as the starting wideout opposite Keenan Allen. Floyd worked in that capacity during Friday's game, as he and Allen were the only wide receivers targeted by Philip Rivers.

The Union-Tribune says Malcom Floyd was the MVP of Chargers' OTAs and minicamp. The Chargers wanted to test Floyd as he comes off a scary neck injury, so he was usually the most targeted receiver during practices, and "won more than he lost." It's great news for Philip Rivers and the passing game, as last year's No. 2 man Vincent Brown failed to threaten defenses. We know Floyd is very capable of getting down the field on streak routes and making chunk plays. He's on the WR4/5 radar.
