Kendricks caught the game-tying 37-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 34-31 overtime win against the Seahawks and finished with a pair of catches for 42 yards.
EDGE Analysis
This was a fairly typical game for Kendricks, as he doesn't catch many passes but they're usually big plays when he does. If you can find the right week to start Kendricks, he'll have a few fantasy-viable games a year, but there will often be large droughts in between.

Kendricks is re-signing with the Rams on a four-year contract worth approximately $18.5 million, ESPN's Nick Wagnoner reports. Kendricks caught between 27 and 42 passes in each of the four seasons of his rookie contract, after being selected by the Rams in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. While he doesn't offer much in terms of upside, Kendricks is capable as both a receiver and blocker, which allowed him to play around 60 percent of the offensive snaps the last two years. If St. Louis ever decides to move on from the disappointing Jared Cook, Kendricks could assume a larger role in the offense. Cook is expected back for 2015, having renegotiated his contract during the 2014 season.

Kendricks averaged less than two catches a game in 2014, but did lead the team with five touchdown receptions. Kendricks had a typical fantasy season for him, being a touchdown-dependent tight end option. He had only two games with more than two catches and his best yardage total in a game was 35 yards. His primary use is blocking in the Rams' offense, and he will remain a third-tier fantasy tight end option.

Kendricks made one reception for 10 yards in a 12-6 loss to Arizona on Thursday. Kendricks has barely been used in the passing game as of late, as he has only five targets in his last four games. While he does have four touchdowns on the year, his last score came on Oct. 26.

Kendricks caught two passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in a 28-26 win against Seattle on Sunday. Kendricks only has 10 catches for 90 yards his last four games, but three of those receptions went for touchdowns. While hoping for touchdowns is a risky proposition, Kendricks does seem to be Austin Davis' favorite red zone target.

Kendricks caught only one pass for 22 yards Monday in a 31-17 loss to San Francisco, but it did go for a touchdown. Kendricks does have two touchdowns in his last three weeks, which is par for the course as he usually has one streaky group of games a year. While he's been decent the last three weeks, he still has yet to crack 30 yards in a game this season and is feast or famine.

Kendricks caught six passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in a 34-31 defeat at the hands of Dallas on Sunday. Kendricks didn't get a lot of yardage Sunday, but made up for it with several catches to go with his score. The Rams threw the ball quite a bit on Sunday, which may lead to more opportunities for Kendricks after the bye. As the second option at tight end, however, it's a crapshoot on what Kendricks will do from week to week.

Kendricks caught a trio of passes for 25 yards in a 19-17 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Kendricks will pick up a couple catches a game, but if he's not catching touchdowns, he's not going to do much fantasy-wise. With only one touchdown in two games for the Rams' offense, Kendricks' stock falls even lower.

Kendricks hauled in two receptions for 12 yards in a 34-6 loss to Minnesota on Sunday. Kendricks is the second receiving option at tight end behind Jared Cook, which makes him a touchdown-dependent fantasy option. He does tend to have a couple big games a year, but hitting those would require some solid waiver wire guesswork.

Kendricks managed the Rams' only score Saturday against the Packers, hauling in an 11-yard touchdown reception. The catch was incredibly impressive and harkened back to the ability that Kendricks displayed during his collegiate career at Wisconsin. He's now been targeted five times to the two afforded presumptive starter Jared Cook through a pair of preseason outings, and with Sam Bradford now healthy, a new status quo may take hold in 2014.
