He's a steady option at tight end, but will have his hands full Monday against a Packers defense that held him to nine yards on three catches in Week 2.

Rudolph's streak of four consecutive games with a touchdown came to a close with a letdown performance. He was out-targeted by rookie Irv Smith and managed receptions of only three and eight yards in the process. If Adam Thielen (hamstring) is able to return Week 15 against the Chargers, Rudolph's targets will likely dry up further. That could make him a touchdown-reliant option to close the season.

He'll look to keep both of his favorable streaks alive in Week 14 against the Lions.

The touchdown continued a three-game streak Rudolph, who has struck five times in his last five games. The uptick in production has mostly coincided with the absence of Adam Thielen (hamstring), so Thielen's status following the bye will be very relevant to Rudolph's fantasy managers heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Seahawks.

Rudolph had four catches (five targets) for 14 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Cowboys.

Rudolph was in vintage form Sunday, finding the end zone twice and for the fourth time in four contests. The 30-year-old didn't do much in terms of yardage, and has only topped 20 receiving yards just three times despite starting all 10 of the Vikings' contests this year. Rudolph is strictly a touchdown-dependent option, but given the shallowness of the fantasy position and his recent nose for the end zone, fantasy owners hurting for a tight end option could do worse heading into Week 11's matchup against the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Rudolph has scored a touchdown in two of his last three games, which also corresponds with Adam Thielen missing time with a hamstring injury. He has 11 receptions and 14 targets his last three games, compared to nine receptions and 11 targets over his first six games. Rudolph could continue to see an uptick in the passing game if Thielen remains out, but his fantasy value is still dependent on his red-zone usage.

Rudolph had three receptions for 17 yards on three targets in Thursday's win over Washington.

Rudolph didn't repeat his season-high performance in Week 7 (five receptions and a touchdown) even with Adam Thielen sidelined with a hamstring injury.
