Rudolph caught both of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 24-9 win over the Lions.

EDGE Analysis

Owners hoping to see the tight end more involved without wide receiver Stefon Diggs (ribs) were left disappointed, as quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for a season-low 164 yards. After scoring 15 touchdowns over the previous two seasons, Rudolph heads into the Week 10 bye with just 34 catches for 349 yards and two scores.

Rudolph had four receptions for 39 yards on seven targets in Sunday's loss to the Saints.

EDGE Analysis

Rudolph has just two touchdowns and hasn't had more than 57 yards rexeiving since Week 2 as almost all of Minnesota's targets go to Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. However, Rudolph showed he can still be a factor in the red zone Sunday as he had a short-yardage touchdown negated by a penalty.

Rudolph caught one of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 37-17 win over the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Rudolph has seen his yardage total decline in each of the last three games, and he's been kept out of the end zone since Week 3. Owners who drafted the red-zone reindeer after an eight-touchdown 2017 campaign are none too pleased at the moment, but a bounce-back opportunity awaits in what should be a high-scoring affair against the Saints in Week 8.

Rudolph converted all four of his targets into catches for a total of 37 yards during Sunday's 27-17 win over Arizona.

EDGE Analysis

Rudolph's catches, targets and yards were his lowest since Week 1 and his scoreless streak has extended to three weeks. Nobody is going to confuse Rudolph for Travis Kelce or Rob Gronkowsi, but five straight weeks with at least four catches is pretty darn dependable -- even if he hasn't gotten many yards out of them. A New York Jets defense that is giving up 292 receiving yards per game awaits on Sunday.

Rudolph had five receptions for 41 yards on five targets in Sunday's win at Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

Ruldolph was the top target in the passing game after Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, but the top two wide receivers had 21 combined targets. Ruldolph remains a top red zone option and steady part of the offense, but his upside has been somewhat limited by the success of the top two wide receivers.

Rudolph had five receptions for 57 yards on six targets in Thursday's loss at the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

The Vikings were in catch-up mode all game and throwing frequently, so it was good to see Rudolph heavily involved even with the depth at the skill positions for the Vikings. He was fourth on the team in targets. He'll remain a key red zone target for Kirk Cousins.

Rudolph caught five of six targets for 48 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Bills.

EDGE Analysis

Though Rudolph finished tied for fourth on the team in targets, he finished second in both catches and receiving yardage. He scored the team's only touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter, giving him two trips to the end zone through three games this season. Rudolph clearly isn't lost in the shuffle despite the depth at the skill positions for the Vikings, and though his yardage totals could be lacking in some games, he seems to be a go-to option in the red zone. He'll continue as such next week against the Rams.

Rudolph totaled 72 receiving yards while hauling in seven of eight targets during Sunday's 29-29 tie with the Packers.

EDGE Analysis

Rudolph finished third on the team in targets and receptions, totaling his highest yardage output since the final week of the 2016 season. He got off to a bit of a slow start to the game, but he saw his usage increase toward the end of regulation and in overtime as he nearly helped his side complete an improbable come-from-behind victory. Despite the presences of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs as the top options in the passing attack, Rudolph has found a way to produce in both of the first two games of the season. He'll face a favorable matchup next week against the Bills.

Rudolph had one reception for an 11-yard touchdown on two targets in Sunday's win over the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

It was encouraging that Cousin's looked to Rudolph in the red zone. However, it was a little worrisome that Minnesota's other tight ends (David Morgan and Tyler Conklin) equaled his target share. He should get more work in the future, but after one week Cousin's previous strong rapport with tight ends didn't mean a huge target share.

Rudolph told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he felt great during training camp and the preseason following ankle surgery in February. "This entire training camp, I have honestly felt like I'm in the best shape I have ever been in and moving as well as I have since I was 19 years old," Rudolph said.

EDGE Analysis

The Vikings are heading into Week 1 with a group of skill-position players that appears to be completely healthy, and with new starting quarterback Kirk Cousins at the helm, the offense is positioned to be a top-10 scoring unit for the second consecutive season after it returned to that level a year ago for the first time since 2009. Rudolph is consistently among the first 10 tight ends off the board in drafts this season thanks to his role as the third weapon in the passing game behind top wideouts Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.
