Osborn didn't practice during Tuesday's mandatory minicamp due to an undisclosed injury, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The severity of Osborn's injury is unclear, but he joined fellow wideout Ihmir Smith-Marsette (leg) as a non-participant Tuesday. Despite their offseason injuries, Osborn and Smith Marsette are slated to be the top two receivers behind Minnesota's dynamic duo of Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen.

Osborn caught one of four targets for 21 yards and one score during Week 18's 31-17 win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn finished the 2021 campaign with 50 receptions for 655 yards and seven touchdowns. He started the season off hot with 12 receptions for 167 yards through the first two weeks, but he took a backseat as Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen demanded the majority of Kirk Cousins' attention. However, after Thielen went down with a high-ankle sprain in Week 13, Osborn once again stepped up his game. Over the last six contests of the year, Osborn totaled 19 catches for 290 yards and five touchdowns -- including one in each of the Vikings' last three games.

Osborn had three receptions (five targets) for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-10 loss to Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn stepped into the starting lineup in place of Adam Thielen (ankle) as expected, and he delivered a strong fantasy performance with a second-half touchdown. The 24-year-old was already seeing his role increase prior to Thielen's season-ending injury last week, scoring four of his six touchdowns over the last five weeks. The Vikings will take on the Bears in a meaningless game (from a playoffs standpoint), but Osborn and the rest of Minnesota's offensive options would benefit if Kirk Cousins (illness) is able to return.

Osborn's teammate Adam Thielen (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Assuming he stays healthy, Osborn is now locked in as Minnesota's No. 2 receiver, a role he'd already handled for most of the past four weeks with Thielen out or limited due to the injury. Osborn has a four-game streak with at least three catches and 79 percent snap share, averaging 3.8 receptions for 54.8 yards on 6.5 targets in that time, with his third, fourth and fifth TDs of the season. He also put up decent numbers in September as Minnesota's No. 3 receiver, but was unable to sustain the volume with Thielen and Jefferson both healthy. While he may be a distant second to Jefferson now, Osborn appears solidly ahead of Dede Westbrook, Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Dan Chisena as the Vikings prepare to close out their season against the Packers (Week 17) and Bears (Week 18).

Osborn recorded five receptions on seven targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn maintained an increased role in Minnesota's offense as Adam Thielen was limited by an ankle injury. He took advantage by finishing second on the team in targets, yards and receptions. Additionally, he tallied long receptions of 30 and 19 yards while also finding the end zone on a six-yard catch midway through the fourth quarter. Osborn's ability to impact the game in a similar way in a Week 17 matchup against Green Bay will likely come down to Thielen's ability to take the field.

Osborn secured all three targets for 21 yards in the Vikings' 17-9 win over the Bears on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn drew another start for Adam Thielen (ankle), but unlike the Week 14 Thursday night win over the Steelers when he'd cobbled together a strong fantasy effort with a late touchdown, there was no such development Monday night. The University of Miami product could be back to his usual No. 3 role for Sunday's critical Week 16 home battle against the Rams, considering Thielen was considered a game-time decision Monday night.

Osborn brought in three of nine targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' 36-28 win over the Steelers on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
The emerging second-year wideout drew the start in place of Adam Thielen (ankle) and ended up leading the Vikings in receiving yards thanks in large part to a 62-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Otherwise, Osborn actually slogged through a highly inefficient night, but the long score helped the University of Miami product to the second-highest yardage tally of his young career. If Thielen is still out or limited for a Week 15 Monday night divisional battle against the Bears on Dec. 20, Osborn could once again enjoy a prominent role.

Osborn had four receptions (seven targets) for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Starter Adam Thielen (ankle) was forced out of the contest early in the first quarter, opening the door for Osborn to get more involved in the offense. The 24-year-old produced a solid fantasy line, but it wasn't even his best performance this season despite getting extra run. Osborn could continue to see increased usage if Thielen is forced to miss any time with his sprained ankle. The veteran wideout is currently listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt against the Steelers, but the short week of rest could result in Osborn's first start of the year. He would carry deep-league appeal in the event Thielen is unable to suit up.

Osborn caught one of two targets for five yards during Sunday's 34-26 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn played 55 percent of the team's offensive snaps (30 of 55), but he was once again held to just one catch, as Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson dominated Kirk Cousins' attention. Even with the Vikings playing from behind for the majority of Sunday's loss, Osborn couldn't crack fantasy relevance. The 2020 fifth-round pick's steady playing time should keep him in the conversation, but his lack of production over the past four weeks (three catches for 44 yards) makes him a risky fantasy play in any format.

Osborn had one reception for 19 yards on four targets in Sunday's 34-32 win over Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Osborn played on 52 percent of the offense's snaps (36 of 69) and went out for a route on 23 plays. He's been getting about the same playing time as earlier in the season as the third receiver, but the passing game has narrowed on the duo of Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, with Tyler Conklin emerging as the distant third option. Osborn's steady playing time could make him more of a factor if the Vikings are playing from far behind, but it's hard to count on any production otherwise.
