The Packers are re-signing Nixon to a three-year, $18 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon was named a first-team All-Pro in both 2022 and 2023 as a return man, but last season is when he saw his defensive role heightened, playing a career-high 809 snaps with the majority of those coming as the Packers' slot corner. He remained extremely effective on kickoff returns, averaging an NFL-best 26.1 yards per return while leading the league in total kickoff returns (30) and yards (782). On defense, Nixon racked up 80 tackles (59 solo), one interception and 0.5 sacks.

Nixon notched 80 tackles (59 solo), a half sack, an interception and six pass deflections over 17 games in the 2023 season. He also returned 30 kicks for 782 yards and 14 punts for 95 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon's exploits in the return game earned him first-team All-Pro honors for a second straight year, and he was also more involved on the defensive side of the ball than he was in any of his first four seasons as a professional. Nixon will be a free agent this offseason and figures to garner interest from several teams, but the Packers will also presumably be interested in keeping him in Green Bay.

Nixon had 11 tackles (seven solo) and a sack in Sunday's 48-32 wild-card victory over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
The first-team All-Pro kick returner did not run a kick back Sunday, but he did match the career-high 11 stops he made in Week 17. One way or another he will be key in Green Bay's upcoming matchup with San Francisco, and just how big a role he will fill will likely depend on the availability -- or lack thereof -- of top cornerback Jaire Alexander (ankle).

Nixon (quadriceps) was a full participant at the Packers' practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon considered limited at Wednesday's walkthrough, but Thursday's session erases any doubt about his availability for Sunday's regular season finale with the Bears. The dual-threat cornerback has made 18 tackles while also compiling 86 kick return yards over the last two contests.

Nixon (quadriceps) was considered to be a limited participant at Green Bay's walkthrough Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon was a limited participant all week prior to playing in the Packers' 33-10 win over the Vikings in Week 17, compiling a career-high 11 tackles in the contest, so Wednesday's status isn't a cause for concern quite yet. The cornerback will look to return to log a full practice prior to Sunday's significant matchup with the Bears, though he may not have to in order to appear in the contest.

Nixon finished Sunday's 33-10 win over the Vikings with a team-high 11 tackles (seven solo), including 0.5 sacks. He also returned one kick for 23 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Not only was it the first sack of Nixon's career -- shared with Devonte Wyatt -- but also marked the first time that he registered double-digit tackles in a game. Nixon took advantage of the one-game suspension of Jaire Alexander as the former drew the start alongside Carrington Valentine. Nixon is up to 76 tackles (56 solo), six passes defended and one interception over 16 games this season.

Nixon (quadriceps) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon was a limited participant in practice all week and is set to suit up for Sunday's NFC matchup, during which he'll play his usual roles as both the slot cornerback and as the primary kick returner. He has already set a career high with 57 tackles in 13 games this season in addition to logging 647 kick return yards.

Nixon (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon once again contributed both on defense as the slot cornerback and on special teams as the team's kick returner. He finished Monday's loss against the Giants with four tackles (three solo), while returning a kickoff for 25 yards. Nixon's practice participation over the course of the week will better indicate his availability for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Nixon recorded five tackles (three solo) and one interception in Sunday's 27-19 victory over the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon came up big for the Packers' defense with a fourth-quarter interception, which led to a field-goal and eventual win. The 26-year-old has now tallied 50 or more defensive snaps and four or more tackles in the past four games. In addition, the return specialist also added 60 kick-return yards to his league-leading 622 on the year.

Nixon made seven tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Chargers. He also returned two kickoffs for 60 yards and two punts for two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon played over 80 percent of the defensive snaps for a third straight game, and he also made a mark in the return game. Nixon was named to the 2022 All-Pro Team as a kick returner, and he is trending toward repeating that feat. With one game to play in Week 11, he leads all players with 562 kick-return yards and is averaging 26.8 yards per kick return -- a mark that tops all players who have taken back at least eight kicks.
