Nixon had one carry for 11 yards, made three solo tackles, deflected a pass and returned a kick for 24 yards in Sunday's 18-17 victory over the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon did not start on defense for the first time this season, but he did see action in all three phrases and recorded his first career touch on the offensive side of the ball. It's unlikely he gets more involved in that area -- particularly when the Packers are back at full strength -- but it is at least an option.

Nixon had eight tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 38-20 victory over the Bears. He also returned two kicks for 55 yards.
EDGE Analysis
The All-Pro return man was not used on punt returns, but that's because he has carved out a key role in Green Bay's secondary, as he was one of three cornerbacks to open Sunday's contest on the field. Nixon may not have as many chances to score as he did last season, but he remains an important player for the Packers.

Nixon saw action in Saturday's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon did not make a mark in the box score, but he started at cornerback for the third time in three preseason contests. The All-Pro return man curiously did not return a kick nor a punt during the exhibition season, but he figures to be back there in some capacity when the regular season gets underway.

The Packers and Nixon (concussion) agreed Monday on a one-year deal with a max value of $6 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon signed with the Packers in March of 2022 and reunited with special-teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, who coached Nixon during his previous stint in Las Vegas. Nixon, an undrafted product out of South Carolina, periodically saw some work on defense with Green Bay, totaling 23 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble across 276 defensive snaps, but he made his mark as a return man after Amari Rodgers was waived in November. Nixon totaled 1,009 kick-return yards, 140 punt-return yards and one touchdown across 12 games as the primary return man en route to first-team All-Pro honors. Based on Rapoport's report, it sounds like Nixon's new deal is laced with incentives, so he'll have to build off his success from last year to earn the full $6 million. He suffered a concussion during the Packers' Week 18 loss to the Lions, but there's no reason to believe that issue will impact his availability for offseason workouts.

Nixon is being evaluated for a concussion Sunday against the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon took a big hit at the end of a fourth-quarter kickoff return in the season finale. The 25-year-old return man showed promise in 2022, scoring a kick return touchdown in Week 17 against the Vikings while adding numerous other lengthy returns.

Nixon (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon, who departed last weekend's matchup versus Miami due to a groin injury, is now in line to play and operate as Green Bay's kick and punt returner New Year's Day against Minnesota. The 25-year-old has thus far provided the Packers with a spark on special teams this year, something the team has lacked the past few seasons.

Nixon (groin) has been deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon was forced out with a groin injury and did not return during last week's win over the Dolphins. He then did not participate in each practice of Week 17 prep, though it appears he'll still have a chance to play. Nixon has provided a jolt to Green Bay since taking over as the team's primary returner, making numerous big plays, including a 93-yard kick return early in the first quarter last Sunday. Should Nixon be ruled inactive prior to this Sunday's 4:25 pm E.T. kickoff, rookie wideout Romeo Doubs will likely assume the team's primary return duties versus Minnesota.

Nixon (groin) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon suffered a groin injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game after providing a spark for Green Bay as a kick returner early in the matchup. Romeo Doubs will likely continue to fill in as the Packers' return man down the stretch, while Nixon's next chance to suit up will be Jan. 1 against the Vikings.

Nixon is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to a groin injury.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon had a 93-yard kick return ahead of the Packers' first offensive possession Sunday, but he apparently sustained a groin injury in the second quarter. It's unclear whether he'll be able to return, but Romeo Doubs took over as Green Bay's kick returner late in the second quarter.

Nixon had three solo tackles in Monday's 24-12 victory over the Rams. He also returned three kicks for 95 yards and two punts for 36 yards in the game.
EDGE Analysis
Nixon continues to be revelation for the Packers, as he played every defensive snap Monday night and again made an impact in the return game. He now finds himself second in the league in kick return yards, and although he has taken back just six punts, he ranks second league-wide with an average of 15.3 yards per punt return.
