Justin Blackmon said his tender hamstring did not hinder him during Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Blackmon posted a disappointing 6/58/0 line. "I was fine. I don't think it was really a factor as far as the pain stopping me from doing anything," he said. "I went through last week with the same injury." Blackmon should bounce back well in the Week 8 game against the 49ers before resting up during the Week 9 bye.

Justin Blackmon was limited to six catches for 58 yards in the Jaguars' Week 7 loss to San Diego. The Chargers paid special defensive attention to Blackmon, who couldn't get loose for a big play but still contributed chain-moving catches and drew a pass interference flag to turn a third-and-long into a first down. Blackmon should continue to be viewed as a borderline WR1 when the Jags face San Francisco in Week 8.

Justin Blackmon is active for Week 7 against the Chargers. Blackmon was never in danger of missing this game despite having his practice reps scaled back this week. He's a WR1 play against San Diego.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Justin Blackmon (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Chargers. As expected. Jacksonville lists Blackmon as questionable on the injury report, but he's not believed to be in any danger of missing Week 7. With Cecil Shorts (clavicle) banged up, look for Blackmon and Maurice Jones-Drew to carry the offensive load. Blackmon is Rotoworld's No. 12 receiver play this week.

Despite sitting out Friday's practice, Justin Blackmon (questionable, hamstring) told reporters afterwards there's "no question" he will play in Week 7 against the Chargers. That's the kind of confidence we like to hear from an allegedly injured player. Blackmon only took part in one practice this week, but all along indications were the Jaguars simply planned the routine to keep him rested. Cecil Shorts (clavicle, questionable) is severely banged up, so the Jags need Blackmon to continue to carry their offensive load against San Diego.

Justin Blackmon (hamstring) missed practice Friday. There's no reason to believe Blackmon suffered any kind of setback. The Jaguars are likely just taking it easy on him after he worked his tail off last Sunday. Blackmon checks in as Rotoworld's No. 12 receiver this week.

Justin Blackmon (hamstring) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday. Blackmon will likely be listed as "limited" after getting a rest day on Wednesday, but he's fully expected to suit up for Week 7. Drawing a mammoth amount of targets and doing major work with them, Blackmon is a borderline WR1 against the Chargers' porous defense.

Justin Blackmon (groin/hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday, as expected. Blackmon is dealing with minor groin/hamstring injuries, so the Jaguars are giving him a scheduled rest day. Coach Gus Bradley confirmed Tuesday he's fully expected to play this week. Blackmon is going to be a target machine with Cecil Shorts (SC joint) looking doubtful for Week 7.

Coach Gus Bradley confirmed Justin Blackmon (groin/hamstring) is expected to play Week 7. Blackmon won't practice Wednesday as a rest day. He's played on 128-of-134 snaps (95.5 percent) since coming off suspension and caught 14 passes against the Broncos. With Cecil Shorts (SC joint) in serious doubt for Week 7, Blackmon projects as a target monster once again.

Justin Blackmon suffered a groin/hamstring injury in Sunday's loss to Denver and will be held out of practice Wednesday. We're not surprised Blackmon emerged from his second NFL game since December of 2012 a bit sore after essentially serving as Denver's Week 6 offense. He handled a heavy workload, securing 14 balls for 190 yards and repeatedly getting the better of Champ Bailey. The missed Wednesday practice appears to be pre-planned, and Blackmon should resume participating by Thursday or Friday.
