Gordon (suspension) nabbed three of his six targets for 29 yards during Thursday's preseason game versus the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon, who looked liked his former self throughout the preseason, will have to wait until Week 5 against New England before he's allowed back on the field. He worked with the second team Thursday in order to get some final reps in before his suspension kicks in on Saturday. If he can keep up his rapport with Robert Griffin when he gets back, he'll be a welcome addition to a receiving corp that's already flush with talent.

Gordon (suspension) caught two passes for 87 yards and a touchdown (two targets) in Friday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
According to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal, Terrelle Pryor and Corey Coleman (hamstring) technically got the start, with Gordon then replacing the rookie for the second offensive snap. All three wideouts, along with Andrew Hawkins, ended up getting plenty of first-team work, but it was Gordon who clearly left the best impression. The 25-year-old snuck behind Brent Grimes on a double move to pick up 44 yards on the opening drive, then later outleapt Grimes for a 43-yard touchdown shortly before halftime. Gordon's lack of involvement in the time between might normally seem a bit concerning, but the Cleveland offense simply couldn't get anything going, with Robert Griffin ultimately taking five sacks on 19 dropbacks. Whatever issues the Browns offense might still need to work out, Gordon's first on-field appearance since 2014 left little doubt that his elite athleticism is in tact. He should emerge as Griffin's favorite target upon completion of his four-game suspension, though it is possible the Browns quarterback will develop chemistry with Coleman, Pryor and TE Gary Barnidge in the meantime.

Gordon (quad) will play Friday against the Buccaneers, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing all of the 2015 season due to suspension and the first two games of the preseason due to a quad injury, Gordon will be making his first on-field appearance since December of 2014 on Friday. Both he and rookie Corey Coleman will play, meaning that Friday marks the first time Cleveland will be rolling out its projected starting receiving corps along with Terrelle Pryor.

Gordon (suspension) is expected to make his preseason debut Friday against the Buccaneers, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
As is first-round draft pick Corey Coleman, which will give fantasy observers a preview of what should emerge as the Browns' top wideout duo, upon the competition of Gordon's four-game suspension to start the season. While it's best not overreact to a player's efforts in a single preseason game, this will be the first chance to see Gordon in game action since December of 2014, thus adding a layer of intrigue to how he shows on Friday. As long as things continue to move forward in a positive direction for Gordon, he is a candidate to regain fantasy relevance as the 2016 campaign rolls along, though after his extended absence, and while working with a new QB (Robert Griffin), question marks do accompany his obvious upside/potential.

Though a number of teams have reportedly inquired about trading for Gordon (suspension), the Browns aren't interested in dealing the wideout, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon, who the report points out has been suspended for 27 of his last 32 games, has looked good in practice of late and on is track to make his preseason debut Friday against the Bucs. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has been getting first-team reps in practice and it's not hard to imagine Gordon stepping into a regular season starting role as soon as Week 5, when he is eligible to return from his four-game suspension.

Gordon (quad/suspension) worked with the Browns' first-team offense during portions of Sunday's practice session, ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon remains suspended for Cleveland's first four games of this season, but coach Hue Jackson wants to ensure he's ready to roll with the starters once available. Since Gordon won't be able to practice during his suspension, his involvement with the first-team offense during the preseason is one way Jackson intends to prepare him for his eventual return. Although a quadriceps injury has hindered Gordon somewhat lately, Jackson hopes he'll be healthy enough to play in Thursday's exhibition contest against the Buccaneers.

Head coach Hue Jackson said Thursday that the team hope that Gordon (quad/suspension) will play in next week's preseason game against the Buccaneers, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon will still be suspended once the season gets underway, but it'll still be a positive to see him get into game action for the first time since 2014. He has been nagged by a quadriceps injury that has hindered his conditioning, but if he remains on his current track, he should be able to get some snaps in the Browns' third preseason game.

Gordon (quad/suspension) is slated to miss Thursday's preseason contest against the Falcons, Mary Cay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon's first appearance of training camp was delayed until Monday due to a mix of quad and potential conditioning concerns, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal. Although Gordon has a handful of practices in his back pocket, head coach Hue Jackson will push back the wideout's first professional action since December of 2014. If Gordon indeed sits out Thursday, his next chance to play arrives Friday, Aug. 26 in Tampa Bay.

Gordon (suspension/quad) is unlikely to play in Thursday's preseason game against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon -- who had been dealing with a quad issue - was removed from the Browns' active/non-football injury list Monday and participated in his first practice since Dec. 26, 2014. Due to a four-game suspension to start the coming NFL campaign, Gordon is not eligible for regular season action until Week 5's game against the Patriots. In the meantime, he'll look to move past his quad issue and get into the groove conditioning-wise. For his part, the 25-year-old Gordon said that he feels as strong and fast as he's ever been. Assuming things continue to move forward in a positive direction for the wideout, Gordon is poised to re-enter the fantasy equation, though after such a long time away from the field, and while meshing with a new QB (Robert Griffin), there are still question marks that accompany his obvious upside/potential.

Gordon (quad) has been activated from the Browns' Non-Football Injury list and is expected to practice Monday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon was dealing with both a quad injury and conditioning issues while sitting out the Browns' practices to this point, but it appears he's ready to hit the field with his teammates once again Monday. A long-anticipated returnee, Gordon will aim to improve his chemistry with starting quarterback Robert Griffin going forward, and will be eligible to play in Cleveland's three remaining preseason games. While his activation Monday certainly bodes well for his preparation ahead of this season, the terms of Gordon's conditional reinstatement still leave him unable to play until Week 5 of the regular season.
