Gordon was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after testing positive for the virus, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon caught two of three targets for nine yards and a touchdown, his first since 2019, during Sunday's win over the Raiders, but he's now landed on the reserve list. The 30-year-old will only have a few days to clear the health and safety protocols before Thursday's matchup with the Chargers.

Gordon played just 12 offensive snaps and didn't receive a target Sunday against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Andy Reid indicated a few weeks back that Gordon should be more involved in the offense in the future, but we haven't seen that come to fruition up to this point. Gordon has just two catches to his name in the eight games he's played with the Chiefs and doesn't appear to be trending in the right direction as far as playing time goes, logging just 22 percent of the offensive snaps this week compared to 42 percent in the team's last game versus the Cowboys. Gordon is safe to leave on the waiver wire until he sees a major uptick in snaps and draws more looks in the passing attack.

Gordon secured one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 19-9 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon played 43 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps Sunday, matching his season-high rate from Week 10. The wideout's playing time has increased throughout the season, but it hasn't translated into much fantasy production. Gordon will look to get more involved in Kansas City's passing attack following the team's Week 12 bye.

Coach Andy Reid indicated Monday that he's expressed to Gordon that it's only a matter of time before the wideout is a productive member of the offense, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reid also suggested that Gordon needs to remain patient but that his opportunities are supposedly on the way. Gordon did log a season-high 32 snaps against the Raiders on Sunday, but he has just one catch to his name in the six weeks since joining Kansas City and has been targeted just four total times. Until we begin to see a bit more in the way of looks his direction, Gordon can safely remain on the waiver wire in most formats and a stash, at most, in some deep formats.

Gordon couldn't haul in his only target Monday versus the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
While Gordon didn't do much of anything offensively, it is encouraging that he saw a bump to a 40 percent offensive snap share after playing no more than 14 percent through his first three games. Even so, it's still probably best to wait for some form of production on his end before considering him for fantasy lineups and rosters.

Gordon failed to reel in his lone target Sunday versus the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon didn't see any real increase in his playing time in this one, logging just eight offensive snaps. Through three weeks, he hasn't played more than 11 offensive snaps in a game and has just two targets to his name. It's unclear at this point if he is still working to get the Chiefs' playbook down or if he's simply just a depth option moving forward, but Gordon is far from a viable fantasy option at this point.

Gordon didn't draw a target on any of his 11 snaps Sunday versus Washington.
EDGE Analysis
A report during the week suggested Gordon could be in line for more reps Sunday. While it was technically the case, the increase was just from eight to 11, hardly enough for him to do much from a fantasy perspective. It's unclear exactly how much Gordon has left in the tank at this point, so he's likely just a stash option in some deeper leagues at the moment.

Head coach Andy Reid revealed that Gordon was expected to see around 20 snaps in last week's loss to the Bills, but the wideout limited to eight in his team debut because the Chiefs had to run a hurry-up offense more often than expected, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Assuming the Chiefs are able to follow a more normal game script Week 6 against Washington, Gordon may have more of a role in the offense than he did in his debut. Even if Gordon is able to double or triple up his snap count from Week 7, he's unlikely to see enough volume in the passing game to make a major fantasy impact.

Gordon reeled in his lone target for 11 yards Sunday night versus the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon played just eight offensive snaps, likely due to begin unfamiliar with the playbook but did manage to scratch out a reception in his debut with the team. Given the lack of production from other wide receivers on the roster, Gordon could stand a chance to carve out a consistent role on offense once he gets the playbook down.

The Chiefs signed Gordon of their practice squad Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Just days after the NFL reinstated him from an indefinite suspension on Sept. 24, Gordon found a new home on the Chiefs' practice squad. And after one week in KC, he's already endeared himself to Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and company. Merely getting to work with Mahomes elevates the stock of most skill-position players, and if Gordon can tap into his downfield playmaking ability of yore, he could be an immediate hit on the fantasy scene, especially with the team needing a third viable receiving option behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
