According to NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, Jeremy Maclin looked "outstanding" in offseason workouts and the Eagles are expecting a "huge year." Jeremiah has close ties to the Eagles because he worked as a scout for them last season. There's also a consensus among Philly beat writers that Maclin is set up for a breakout season. It's important to remember that Maclin didn't play anywhere near full strength last year after losing 15 pounds in the offseason and not even being able to practice until 14 days before the opener.

Michael Vick is the latest to suggest a "huge year" is in store for Jeremy Maclin. "Every time I see him run routes I think of Michael Irvin," added Vick. Maclin sustained a minor right ankle injury in Thursday's practice, but returned to participate on a more limited basis the rest of the way. The injury does not appear to be a concern for the potential breakout star.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has issued a "breakout" alert for Jeremy Maclin this season. Fantasy leaguers, take note. One Eagles coach "didn't hesitate" to nominate Maclin when the Inquirer asked for a player who will make his first Pro Bowl this season. Rotoworld has heard similar sentiments from other sources. Maclin was on pace for 88 receptions and 1,212 yards at mid-season last year, only to be waylaid by shoulder and hamstring injuries in the second half.

Coach Andy Reid indicated that Jeremy Maclin is "much stronger right now" than he was after the lockout last summer. Maclin's weight dropped as low as 180 pounds last year while battling a mystery illness, feared to be Lymphoma. He's now up to 205, seven pounds over his 2011 playing weight. The hope is that the added bulk will prevent injuries such as the shoulder and hamstring issues which limited Maclin to just 19 catches and 253 yards over the final eight games.

Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed at his Monday press conference that Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) made it out of Sunday's win without further injury. Reid also said the same for Michael Vick, saying his quarterback felt better today than he did last Monday. Despite catching just three passes for 57 yards, Maclin looked sharp against the Jets, drawing five targets while having little difficulty getting open against CB Antonio Cromartie. He'll be a high-end WR2 against Dallas' leaky secondary in Week 16.

Jeremy Maclin caught three passes for 57 yards in the Eagles' Week 15 win over the Jets. With Darrelle Revis shadowing DeSean Jackson, Maclin and Brent Celek were Michael Vick's primary reads. Maclin showed no issues with his hamstring, making it through the whole game and consistently getting open against Antonio Cromartie. He'll be a WR2 option against the Cowboys next week.

The New York Daily News reports that the Jets will "play sides" at cornerback against the Eagles, with Jeremy Maclin likely avoiding Darrelle Revis' coverage on the game's first snap and in base formations. If playing sides sticks for four quarters -- and there are no guarantees it will -- Maclin would play the majority of the snaps in RCB Antonio Cromartie's coverage. DeSean Jackson would draw the most of Darrelle Revis. We're not sure it matters a whole lot, however. Cromartie has been almost as much of a shutdown cornerback as Revis in the finest season of his career.

Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, questionable) insists he's over the hump with his hamstring injury. "I thought I felt pretty good last week, but now I can actually see it and see it on film," Maclin said. "I'm ready to go." Maclin returned from a three-game absence in Week 14, but was in and out of the Eagles' win over Miami. Despite his positivity, it's hard to trust Maclin going into a tough matchup with Jets CB Antonio Cromartie. Maclin is Rotoworld's 34th ranked receiver for Week 15.

Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) practiced again on Friday and is listed as probable for Week 15 against the Jets. Maclin isn't in danger of missing the game, but the matchup will be difficult against Antonio Cromartie, and he's yet to show the ability to play four quarters since originally straining the hamstring. Maclin will be a dicey fantasy start in Week 15. Rotoworld ranks him 34th among wide receivers.

Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) said he will be active for Sunday's game against the Jets. "I'm playing, baby," Maclin said Thursday. He'll be a high-risk fantasy play after aggravating his strain during last week's win and sitting out the majority of the second half.
