Jeremy Maclin (hip) has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Maclin is not expected to practice Wednesday, but Andy Reid is holding out hope. "I stood here last week and told you it was going to be a struggle, and then he came around," Reid said Monday. "So I'd just tell you it's day to day." If Maclin can't go, rookie Damaris Johnson will draw the start opposite DeSean Jackson.

Coach Andy Reid does not expect Jeremy Maclin (hip) to practice on Wednesday.
Maclin's aggravation is being called another contusion. He's avoided structural damage, but the repetitive nature of the injury and his inability to return to Sunday's game doesn't bode well. Maclin was mostly used as a decoy during the first half against the Ravens anyway.

Jeremy Maclin (undisclosed) was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 2 game against the Ravens.
It looks like an aggravation of the hip pointer injury that Maclin battled all week. He was in a ton of pain on the field and had to be carted to the locker room. Maclin, who had one catch for a 23-yard touchdown before leaving, is officially questionable to return. Rookie Damaris Johnson has come on, leaving Jason Avant in his slot role.

Jeremy Maclin (questionable, hip) and DeSean Jackson (questionable, hamstring) are both expected to play in Week 2 against the Ravens.
Both players will go through a morning workout, but both receivers are expected to suit up. The Eagles had a chance to bring up a receiver from the practice squad but opted against it, so it's a good sign for their outlook. Maclin stated on Thursday that "nothing" would keep him out for Week 2, while Jackson was limited all week after tweaking the hamstring in Wednesday's practice. Neither are close to a WR1 against a stout Baltimore defense on Sunday, especially at less than 100 percent.

Jeremy Maclin (hip, questionable) assured reporters Friday that he will play in Week 2 against the Ravens after practicing on a limited basis.
Maclin stated that "nothing" will hold him back from facing Baltimore and "I'll be alright." We're wary of Maclin's on-field effectiveness against a historically stout Ravens pass defense, but he sure seems confident that he'll play. Check back Sunday morning for official confirmation of his status.

The Eagles have listed Jeremy Maclin (hip) and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) both as questionable for Week 2 against Baltimore.
Coach Andy Reid called both "game-time decisions," although he said he expects both Jackson and Maclin to play on Sunday. The Ravens and Eagles square off in a 1PM ET game, and we fully expect to have a clearer read on both players' health and availability by then. Stay tuned for updates. For now, we's still be looking elsewhere for Week 2 fantasy receiver starts.

Eagles WRs Jeremy Maclin (hip flexor) and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) returned to practice on Friday.
Both receivers were in pads, running around and showing no limitations in the portion open to the media. Coach Andy Reid has expressed confidence that Maclin and Jackson would be available, and they remain on track despite Thursday's missed practice. Check back later this afternoon for their official injury designation.

Coach Andy Reid expects WRs Jeremy Maclin (hip pointer) and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) to play versus the Ravens on Sunday.
"I think we'll be OK there," said Reid. "They're both doing a lot better." Both receivers missed practice on Thursday, so they're not out of the woods just yet. Likely to be at less than peak strength in a tough matchup, Maclin is ranked 33rd and Jackson 30th among fantasy receivers. Check back by Sunday morning to assure that both are in the starting lineup.
