Jeremy Maclin said he expects to play Sunday after getting in a near-full session in Wednesday's practice. All signs are point toward Maclin suiting up against the Giants on Sunday Night Football. Barring a setback, he can be safely penciled in as your WR2, though it's unclear how effective he'll be at what is presumed to be less than 100 percent.

Jeremy Maclin (hip) will practice on Wednesday. Maclin was held out of last week's game in Arizona with one eye on the Week 4 showdown against the Giants. Even though he'll likely end up "limited" Wednesday, he's on track to be active and starting. Maclin had five catches for 69 yards in one appearance against the Giants last season.

Eagles coach Andy Reid responded "we'll see" when asked Friday about Jeremy Maclin's (hip, out) availability going forward. Reid avoided the question when asked whether Maclin suffered a setback. "He didn't really make any improvement from yesterday," Reid conceded. "We didn't have him do much yesterday and he really didn't make any improvements so we're going to give him the week off here to make sure we get that thing back." Maclin will sit out at Arizona and hopefully return in Week 4 against the Giants.

Although he was a late arrival for Thursday's practice, he appears to be sitting this one out. While Maclin showed toughness gutting out his hip injury in Week 2, the Eagles can't afford for him to be aggravating the ailment every game. It would probably behoove everyone for Maclin to take a week off. The Eagles visit Arizona on Sunday.
