Kerley brought in all five of his targets for 42 yards and added four punt returns for 31 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout played his third receiver role to perfection, building on his three-reception, 14-yard effort in Week 2. Filling a third receiver role on an offense that's likely be somewhat on the inconsistent side as the season unfolds, Kerley's fantasy utility is largely limited to very deep PPR formats, particularly those that factor in return yards. The 28-year-old will look to continue building his rapport with quarterback Josh McCown against the Jaguars in Week 4.

Kerley played 79 percent of the offensive snaps in Sunday's 45-20 loss to the Raiders, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Serving as the Jets' primary slot receiver after being held out the previous week, Kerley caught each of his three targets for only 14 yards. He should be a bit busier in future weeks if he keeps the role, but it seems outside receivers Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson are Josh McCown's favorite targets.

Kerley is active Sunday for the Jets' Week 2 tilt with the Raiders and is expected to serve as the club's No. 3 receiver, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kerley signed a one-year deal with the Jets on Sept. 5 to add some experience to a green receiving corps, but because he hadn't had adequate time to absorb the team's playbook, the 28-year-old was inactive for the Week 1 loss to the Bills. With another week of practice under his belt, Kerley evidently showed the coaching staff that he was ready to contribute, so look for him to see regular snaps in three-wideout sets through Sunday's contest. Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse are expected to remain the team's top two targets in the passing game.

Head coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Kerley will be a game-time call for Sunday's road matchup with the Raiders, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he was a healthy scratch in Week 1, Kerley may be on the verge of becoming one of the Jets' regular inactives, which would have been difficult to believe when he joined the team on Sept. 5 due to the sparse nature of the receiving corps. Instead, Bowles will turn to Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse and Adarius Stewart in the starting lineup, with Chad Hansen and Charone Peake rounding out the corps, as he did in the season opener.

Kerley is inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Kerley was just added to the Jets' roster this past Tuesday, so he'll sit this one out. Once he's up to speed with the team's offense, the veteran wideout should have an opportunity to claim a role working in the slot.

The Jets signed Kerley to a one-year contract Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a one-year stint with the 49ers, Kerley finds himself in familiar climes, as he spent the first five seasons of his career with the Jets. The loss of Quincy Enunwa (neck) for the season had opened the door for Robby Anderson to head the receiving corps, but the arrival of Jermaine Kearse and now Kerley throws a wrench into those expectations. Expect Kerley to operate out of the slot, where he could be a reliable option for veteran quarterback Josh McCown after corralling a career-best 64 passes in 2016.

Kerley was released by the 49ers on Saturday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kerley was considered a favorite for the No. 3 receiver role, but the Niners do have a pair of cheaper alternatives in Aldrick Robinson and fifth-round rookie Trent Taylor. While Kerley's 64 receptions from last season might draw some attention, his production was entirely driven by a degree of volume (115 targets) that he's ill equipped to handle. He produced meager marks of 10.4 yards per catch and 5.8 yards per target, with the latter ranking behind only Tavon Austin's 4.8 among the league's 45 100-target receivers. Kerley likely will settle into a depth and special teams role if he signs elsewhere before the season.

Kerley did not see a pass thrown his way in Saturday's loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran wideout has only received one target through two preseason contests, but he did field one punt for one yard Saturday. Kerley projects to be the 49ers' starting slot receiver and primary punt return man after his solid performance in those roles last season. The only legitimate threat to his job is rookie wideout Trent Taylor, but it would make sense for the 28-year-old to get first crack at the job come Week 1.

Kerley signed a three-year, $10.5 million contract extension with the 49ers on Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kerley appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers during the 2016 season after coming over from the Jets, finishing his campaign with 64 receptions for 667 yards and three touchdowns on 115 targets. He was also involved in kick and punt return duties, while serving as the No. 2 option at receiver behind Torrey Smith. Kerley expects to play a similar role in 2017, although there remains some uncertainty as to who will be the starting quarterback in San Francisco.

Kerley converted eight targets into six catches for 61 yards in Sunday's loss to Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Kerley looked like a shrewd low-price pickup early this season, but never really found much of a groove once Colin Kaepernick took over at quarterback, scoring just once in 11 games and never topping 71 yards with his new quarterback. The veteran still managed to garner career-highs in catches and targets and re-enters free agency as a solid complementary weapon.
