Waddle secured six of eight targets for 95 yards in the Dolphins' 29-27 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. He also completed an eight-yard pass attempt.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle fell just short of his second consecutive 100-yard effort, but he still led the Dolphins in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon. The 2021 first-round pick has unsurprisingly seen an uptick in involvement during the first two full games Miami has played without Tyreek Hill (IR, knee), posting a combined 12-205-1 receiving line on 17 targets in that pair of contests. Waddle's clear-cut No. 1 receiver role should persist in a Week 7 road matchup against a talented Browns defense.

Waddle brought in six of nine targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 27-24 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
In his first full game this season without Tyreek Hill (IR, knee) alongside him, Waddle stepped up as expected and led the Dolphins across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The talented veteran had another couple of close calls downfield that could have resulted in an even bigger day, but as it was, Waddle posted new season highs in catches, receiving yards and targets. He also recorded his third touchdown of the season on a go-ahead 46-yard grab with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, making it a productive all-around day despite the disappointing team outcome. Waddle will aim to put together a successful encore performance in a tough Week 6 home matchup against the Chargers next Sunday afternoon.

Waddle is positioned as the Dolphins' top wide receiver with Tyreek Hill (knee) out for the season, Marcel Louis-Jacques and Stephania Bell of ESPN report.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle secured three of six targets for 48 yards during Monday's 27-21 win over the Jets, in which Hill suffered a dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL. Miami placed Hill on IR on Wednesday, leaving Waddle poised to be the team's unquestioned No. 1 receiver. The presence of second-year pro Malik Washington and tight end Darren Waller -- who scored twice in his team debut Monday -- will prevent opposing defenses from focusing entirely on the 2021 first-round pick, but it should be Waddle who benefits from the most significant increase in volume, beginning Sunday versus Carolina. He surpassed 1,000 yards in each of his first three NFL seasons and as a rookie in 2021, when Hill was still a member of the Chiefs, Waddle demonstrated an ability to handle massive volume en route to a 104-1,015-6 receiving line.

Waddle secured three of six targets for 48 yards in the Dolphins' 27-21 win over the Jets on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle finished tied for second in receptions and targets and as the runner-up in receiving yards on the night, but the bigger story is the 2021 first-round pick's projected expanded role moving forward. Tyreek Hill suffered what is being termed as a dislocated knee in the third quarter, meaning his season is almost certainly over. Consequently, Waddle, who posted a spectacular 104-1,015-6 line on 141 targets over 16 games back in his rookie 2021 campaign with Hill still on the Chiefs' roster, should elevate to the role of Tua Tagovailoa's top target moving forward. Waddle has yet to top five catches and 68 yards in a game this season, but it should only be a matter of time before he sets new single-game highs, perhaps as soon as a Week 5 road matchup against the Panthers.

Waddle (shoulder) practiced fully Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle has been dealing with a shoulder issue since Week 2 prep, but he's suited up the last two games and logged more than 80 percent of the offensive snaps both times en route to a combined 10-107-2 line on 12 targets during that span. After opening this week with a limited practice Thursday, he handled every rep one day later and thus is on pace for his typical workload Monday against the Jets.

Waddle (shoulder) was limited at practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After logging limited practices last Tuesday and Wednesday, Waddle approached last Thursday's game against the Bills listed as questionable. The wideout was able to suit up for the contest and recorded an 87 percent snap share versus Buffalo while catching five of his six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown. With no reported setbacks, there's a solid chance that Waddle's listed limitations this Thursday were maintenance-related ahead of Monday night's game against the Jets.

Waddle brought in five of six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle went into pregame warmups uncertain to play due to a shoulder issue, but he finished tied with Tyreek Hill for first in receptions among the Dolphins' wideouts. Like his teammate, Waddle also got into the end zone, scoring on a three-yard grab just before halftime to erase a 14-7 deficit. Waddle has at least four receptions in each of the Dolphins' first three games and now has scored in two straight, but he's averaging just 9.8 yards per catch heading into a Week 4 Monday night home divisional clash against the Jets on Sept. 29.

Waddle (shoulder) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle was on the field for 82 percent of the Dolphins' snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Patriots, a game in which he caught five of six targets for 68 yards and a TD. He wasn't listed on Monday's practice estimate, but he then was deemed a limited participant in Tuesday's session, as well as on Wednesday's estimated injury report. With the Thursday availability of Waddle (who had been officially listed as questionable) confirmed, assuming no limitations or setbacks he'll be in a position to maintain his key role in Miami's passing offense opposite fellow starting WR Tyreek Hill, with Malik Washington, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Dee Eskridge also in the mix.

Waddle (shoulder) will determine his availability for Thursday's divisional matchup against the Bills via a pre-game workout, though there is optimism he will play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's road matchup at Buffalo after having popped up as a limited participant at Tuesday's practice. After posting a dud in the regular-season opener, Miami's offense bounced back nicely versus the Patriots in Week 2, a contest that saw Waddle haul in five of six targets for 68 yards and a score. Managing similar production on a short week versus a Bills defense that held the Jets to a combined 154 yards on offense will be a difficult task, so even if cleared to play Thursday night, Waddle has to be considered a volatile fantasy option. His status will be made official no later than 90 minutes prior to Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Waddle (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bills, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Waddle wasn't listed on Monday's estimated injury report, he was limited in practice Tuesday and is now officially questionable for Week 3. He had also been limited in practice leading into Miami's matchup against the Patriots in Week 2, but Waddle managed to enter that matchup without an injury designation. His being listed as questionable may simply be the result of Miami facing a short turnaround before Thursday Night Football against Buffalo. It would be surprising if Waddle doesn't suit up Thursday, but fantasy managers may have to wait until 90 minutes before the divisional matchup's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff for his status to be made official.
