Whenever Waller is able to return to the lineup, his ability to command attention from opposing defense could open things up for Waddle, who has been clearly entrenched as the No. 1 wideout for Miami since Tyreek Hill (ACL) suffered a season-ending injury Week 4.

Waddle previously managed a shoulder injury in September and a hamstring issue in October, but Wednesday's practice report is the first time this season he's been listed with a foot issue. So far, those injuries haven't prevented the 27-year-old wideout from suiting up for all 11 of Miami's regular-season games, in which span he's racked up a 49-722-5 receiving line on 73 targets. As long as Waddle is able to maintain at least limited activity during the Dolphins' remaining two practices of Week 13, it will bode well for his chances of suiting up Sunday versus the Saints.

Waddle also paced Miami in targets and contributed a game-long 31-yard grab, and he's now eclipsed 50 receiving yards in six of the last seven games overall, including four straight. Waddle will next take aim at the Saints secondary in a Week 13 home matchup on Sunday, Nov. 30 following a Week 12 bye.

The veteran wideout unsurprisingly continues to enjoy a robust role following the season-ending knee injury to Tyreek Hill, recording at least five catches and 82 receiving yards in five of his last six games. Waddle will continue in an elevated role against a porous Commanders secondary in Madrid next Sunday.

Waddle has exceeded 80 receiving yards in four of the last five games overall, and he should continue to fill a clear No. 1 role in a typically concentrated Dolphins air attack when the Bills come to town for a Week 10 matchup on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Waddle's production has unsurprisingly picked up since Tyreek Hill's season-ending knee injury, as the talented fifth-year wideout has recorded at least 95 receiving yards in three of his last four games while logging at least six targets in each of those contests. Waddle next sets his sights on an inconsistent Ravens secondary, which he'll face off against in a Week 9 home matchup Thursday night.

Nevertheless, the veteran receiver's numbers were season lows across the board, and his catch total was also a new career-worst mark. The Dolphins offense had its worst day of the season overall Sunday, and even though Waddle could bounce back to an extent in a Week 8 road matchup against the Falcons, meaningful production will remain hard to come by if Tagovailoa continues to struggle with ball security and efficiency.
