Dolphins LT Jake Long (shoulder surgery, knee) is a full go for Week 1. Long took it easy in the preseason, but it's not a concern. In fact, the Miami Herald says the perennial Pro Bowler is healthier right now than he was heading into last season. Look for another elite campaign out of Long.

Jake Long (shoulder surgery, knee) returned to Dolphins practice on Saturday. Long had been on the PUP list since the beginning of camp after the Dolphins pledged to take things "really slow" with their elite left tackle. His absence was still a few weeks away from being a concern, and he should have more than enough time to get ready for Week 1.

Coach Tony Sparano said he will take it "really slow" with LT Jake Long (shoulder surgery). As the game's premier left tackle over the last two seasons, Long barely needs any preseason work. He's fully expected to be ready for Week 1.
