Locker (wrist) will return to the starting lineup Sunday against the Browns, the Tennessean reports. He's listed as probable on the injury report.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Locker, who sat out last week's game against the Colts, had a good week of practice leading up to Sunday's 1:00pm EDT kickoff. Given Locker's rough start to the season and the Titans' overall malaise in the passing game, there are better options at quarterback. However, Locker will be available if fantasy owners are desperate.

Locker (wrist) is probable for Sunday's game against the Browns, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Locker has been able to practice fully this week and is in line to start Sunday's game, after giving way to Charlie Whitehurst in Week 4's loss to the Colts. Through three contests, the Browns have given up an average of 272 passing yards to opponents (only five teams have allowed more to date).

Coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated that Locker (wrist) did fine in practice Thursday and sees no reason why the quarterback won't play Sunday against the Browns, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
At this stage, Locker remains on track to start Sunday's game, barring any setbacks, a potential outcome that would be supported by an official probable designation upon the release of Friday's final injury report.

Locker (wrist) indicated that feels good and was able to do everything at practice on Wednesday, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
While Locker is confident that he will be able to play Sunday against the Browns, for his part, coach Ken Whisenhunt still wants to see how Locker responds in Thursday's practice, following the work that the quarterback was able to put in on Wednesday.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt expects Locker (wrist) to practice Wednesday, the Tennessean's John Glennon reports. "He didn't throw today," Whisenhunt said of the QB on Monday. "I think he'll continue with treatment. He was very close Sunday and we'll see. I would anticipate he'll practice Wednesday."
In any case, while Locker is said to be making progress toward his recovery from a sprained right wrist, his status for Sunday's game against the Browns remains unclear. Charlie Whitehurst drew the start at QB for the team in Locker's place in Week 4's loss to the Colts.

Charlie Whitehurst will start Sunday's game in place of the an injured Locker (wrist), ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Locker's wrist is apparently still sore, so he will give way to Whitehurst on Sunday. The report does not specify whether he will be inactive, but that presumably will be the case, and fantasy owners will want to identify a different option for Week 4.

Locker, who was listed as a limited participant in Friday's practice, will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, the Tennessean reports. "It was encouraging. We got to see Jake do a little bit," coach Ken Whisenhunt noted Friday. "But that's what we anticipated. Hopefully (he'll) progress more and we'll obviously see what we can do tomorrow. That will determine a lot of what we decide on."
The report notes that Whisenhunt plans to assess Locker's condition again Saturday before making a determination on the QB's status for Sunday, with a game-time decision potentially looming here in advance of the team's 1:00 ET kickoff. For his part, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean is skeptical that Locker will be able to play this weekend. In any case, Charlie Whitehurst would be in line to draw the start at QB for the Titans on Sunday against the Colts in the event that Locker is unable to go.

Locker (wrist) was listed as a non-participant at practice Thursday, the Tennessean's John Glennon reports.
Glennon adds that coach Ken Whisenhunt noted that Locker is progressing, with the coach further suggesting that Saturday will likely be a determining day with regard to the QB's Week 4 status. The situation is thus trending toward a possible game-time decision, with Charlie Whitehurst in line to draw the start at QB Sunday against the Colts in the event that Locker is forced to sit.

Locker indicated after practice that his wrist is feeling better every day, while noting that he "participated lightly" in Wednesday's session.
That said, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean relays that Locker will be listed as not practicing on Wednesday, per coach Ken Whisenhunt. Either way, Locker's status will be worth tracking in the coming days, with Charlie Whitehurst next in line for the Titans' QB snaps if Locker is out, or limited at all, Sunday against the Colts.
