Booker carried three times for 15 yards and caught his only target for five yards in Monday's 30-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
After a four-game run as a starter, Booker dropped back to the No. 2 spot on the depth chart at running back with Saquon Barkley (ankle) returning to action. Booker handled 21 offensive snaps, while Barkley played 36 snaps. Expect that discrepancy to grow larger as Barkley becomes further removed from the injury, rendering Booker little more than a handcuff to the Giants' lead back.

Booker (hip) is active for Monday's game at Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
As is Saquon Barkley, who is making his return from a four-game absence after sustaining a rough-looking ankle sprain in Week 5. Barkley likely will take on the No. 1 role out of the Giants backfield, but Booker still may earn reps after racking up 382 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown in a quartet of starts in place of Barkley.

Booker (hip) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Buccaneers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker and Saquon Barkley (ankle) both participated in Saturday's practice, which could open up the possibility both backs are available for Monday's battle. Booker starred in the absence of the aforementioned starter, tallying 78 carries for 293 rushing yards to go along with 17 receptions and 147 yards plus three touchdowns in Barkley's five missed games. More information regarding the status of both backs should be available prior to the 8:15 ET kickoff.

Booker (hip) remained limited at Friday's practice, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both Booker and Saquon Barkley (hip) have logged back-to-back limited practices coming out of a bye week as the Giants prepare to play in Tampa on Monday. It's possible both running backs end up listed as questionable for the final game for Week 11, leaving a number of fantasy managers in a bind. Booker and Barkley both have one more chance Saturday to upgrade to full participation before the Giants release their final injury report.

Booker (hip) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both of the top two running backs on the Giants' depth chart were limited in the team's first official practice of Week 11, as Saquon Barkley (ankle) was back on the field following a four-game absence. Barring a setback in practice, Barkley looks on track to suit up Monday against the Buccaneers, thereby ending Booker's time as the Giants' lead back. Though Booker's fantasy value will all but disappear as a result, head coach Joe Judge told Paul Schwartz of the New York Post on Wednesday that the 29-year-old should still rotate into the backfield to help keep Barkley fresh coming off the injury. In the three games this season where both Booker and Barkley have been active and came out of the contest healthy, Booker totaled only seven carries (for 22 yards) and three receptions (for 14 yards).

Booker (hip) wasn't in attendance for the Giants' practice session Monday due to a personal matter, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker had been tending to a hip injury coming out of the Giants' last game Nov. 7 against the Raiders, but that doesn't seem to be a major concern following the team's Week 10 bye. The personal matter was what kept him away from the field Monday, though the Giants haven't suggested that it's anything that will prevent him from playing next Monday in Tampa Bay. Rather than the hip injury or the personal matter, the impending return of Saquon Barkley (ankle) is the main reason why Booker's stock is trending down. Barkley didn't appear to have many limitations during practice Monday and looks on track to recapture a lead role out of the backfield Week 11 following a four-game absence.

Booker downplayed the hip injury he suffered in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Raiders, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker underwent an X-Ray on his hip, but indicated that he's fine, while adding that he wanted to return to Sunday's game. With the Giants on bye in Week 10, Booker will have some added recovery time, but the same can be said for Saquon Barkley (ankle), who was inactive versus Las Vegas. If Barkley is able to return for the team's Nov. 22 tilt against the Buccaneers, Booker would likely revert back to a complementary role in Week 11.

Booker exited Sunday's game against the Raiders with a hip injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Booker started in place of Saquon Barkley (ankle) and had 21 carries for 99 yards and three receptions for 23 yards prior to suffering the injury. Fullback Elijhaa Penny is now set to handle New York's backfield work, unless Booker is able to retake the field.

Booker is expected to continue serving as New York's lead back for Sunday's game against Raiders with Saquon Barkley (ankle) sidelined for a fourth straight contest, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heading into the week, Barkley looked like he might have a decent chance at returning from a three-game absence, but lingering discomfort in his sprained left ankle coupled with a brief stint on the COVID-19 protocol prevented him from getting in enough practice work to put himself on track to play. Barkley's absence thus clears the way for Booker to start and fill a three-down role out of the backfield once again. Booker has performed capably in the past three outings, averaging 17.3 touches and 86.7 yards per contest while finding the end zone once during that stretch.

Booker rushed 15 times for 60 yards and caught five of six targets for 65 yards in Monday night's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Booker racked up his most scrimmage yards of the season, balancing his production between the rushing and passing games. His biggest contribution came on a 41-yard catch prior to halftime, helping set up a field goal for the Giants. Although he didn't find the end zone Monday, Booker still fared admirably while drawing another start in Saquon Barkley's (ankle) absence. Barkley hopes to be available for Week 9's matchup versus the Raiders, but Booker's presence could enable New York to manage Barkley's exposure if needed upon his return to the lineup.
