Freeman ran for 84 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and caught all four of his targets for 10 receiving yards during Sunday's 40-20 win against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old back entered Week 14 amidst an anemic stretch as a rusher, managing fewer than 3.9 yards per carry in six of his past seven outings coming into Sunday, and 3.4 yards per rush overall on the season. A matchup against Carolina's porous rush defense provided a breakout opportunity for Freeman, and he took full advantage by gaining six-plus yards on better than a third of his carries, while logging his first rushing TD of 2019 on a 13-yard scamper during Atlanta's opening offensive drive of the second half. The approaching Week 15 matchup is challenging to dissect, with Freeman taking on a 49ers defense that ranks bottom 10 in the NFL with 4.7 yards per rush. Though San Francisco's front seven has proved susceptible to opposing ground attacks, it's very likely the 4-9 Falcons will have to throw with high frequency in the second half against a 49ers team that owns eight multi-possession victories thus far this season.

Freeman ran for 51 yards on 17 carries and caught four of five targets for 13 receiving yards during Thursday's 26-18 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
The two-time Pro Bowl back has been anemic as a rusher thus far in 2019, now standing at 3.4 yards per carry on the season after another struggling effort Thanksgiving night against New Orleans' top-five rush defense. Receiving production has salvaged fantasy utility for Freeman to some extent, but he's only eclipsed 40 rushing yards twice all year running behind a banged-up Falcons offensive line. Freeman is now afforded nine days to rehabilitate from a sprained foot that kept him limited during Monday's practice session, before Atlanta takes on Carolina's 27th-ranked rush defense Dec. 8.

Coach Dan Quinn said Freeman (foot) looks great and will be ready for Thursday's game against the Saints, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Listed as a limited practice participant Monday and a full participant Tuesday, the 27-year-old running back is set to reclaim his lead role. Freeman suffered the foot injury during a Nov. 10 matchup with the same Saints team he'll face Thursday, finishing with 10 carries for 38 yards and three catches for an additional 10 yards in that contest. The Saints have done a number on opposing backs all season, allowing a league-low 680 rushing yards and the fourth-fewest fantasy points (13.5 per game). Brian Hill will slide back to a reserve role in Week 13.

Freeman (foot) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is Freeman's first full-speed practice since suffering a foot sprain Nov. 10, and he's on track to suit up Thursday against the Saints. Brian Hill was unproductive in Freeman's stead with 1.8 yards per carry, while rookie Qadree Ollison wasn't much better with a 2.6 mark. Thus, barring a "pitch count" for Freeman, he should lead Atlanta's backfield against a strong Saints run defense.

Freeman (foot) participated in the part of Tuesday's practice open to the media, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman was listed as limited on the Falcons' estimated injury report Monday, so it'll be interesting to see if he maintains that activity level or elevates to full participant. In any case, he's putting himself in position to return from a two-game absence.

Freeman (foot) is expected to take part in Monday's walk-through practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Sunday's 35-22 loss to the Buccaneers, the Falcons will face a quick turnaround for Week 13, taking on the Saints in a Thanksgiving Day game. For that reason, Atlanta isn't likely to hold any rigorous practice sessions, which will make it difficult to gauge Freeman's health ahead of Thursday's game even if he ends up being listed as a limited participant on what will likely be three estimated reports this week. The fact that the team hasn't officially ruled Freeman out for Week 13 at least gives him a shot at returning from a two-game absence.

Freeman (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Still unable to practice, Freeman will miss a second straight game and won't necessarily be back for Week 13. Brian Hill led the Atlanta backfield with 15 carries and 60 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's win over Carolina, but Qadree Ollison and Kenjon Barner also got some playing time.

Freeman (foot) was not spotted at Friday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman has not practiced all week, which does not bode well for his chances of playing in Week 12. The Falcons will reveal whether or not Freeman has any chance to take the field when they release their final injury report of the week.

Freeman (foot) didn't practice Thursday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman has made negligible progress through a sprained foot, putting him in danger of missing a second game in a row. Friday's injury report may provide the final word on Freeman's availability, but the Falcons could be forced to roll with Brian Hill, Kenjon Barner and Qadree Ollison out of the backfield Sunday versus the Bucs.

Freeman (foot) wasn't practicing in the part of Thursday's session open to the media, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman appears to be kicking off Week 12 prep with back-to-back DNPs, which won't be known until the Falcons post Thursday's injury report. Coach Dan Quinn told McClure on Monday that Freeman may be able to practice Thursday or Friday, so the running back is running out of time to prove the health of his sprained foot.
