Singletary is slated to sign a three-year deal with the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Schefter, Singletary's looming three-year pact with New York is a $16.5 million agreement that could be worth up to $19.5 million. The 26-year-old, who had 216 carries for 898 yards and four TDs to go along with 30 catches for 193 yards in 17 regular-season games with the Texans in 2023, steps into a situation where he'll be called upon to help fill in for the departure of Saquon Barkley (Eagles). It's a role that should yield enough touches for Singletary -- who profiles as the team's lead back at this stage -- to merit fantasy lineup consideration in 2024.

Singletary rushed the ball nine times for 22 yards in Saturday's 34-10 loss to the Ravens. He added five receptions on six targets for 48 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Game script and a tough matchup combined to mute Singletary's production on the ground. However, he finished third on the team in targets and was effective as a pass catcher, with two of his five receptions going for double-digit gains. With the performance, Singletary recorded at least three receptions in five of his final six games. He's set to hit free agency this offseason and helped his market by tallying 1,091 yards from scrimmage with four total touchdowns across 17 games with the Texans.

Singletary rushed the ball 13 times for 66 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 45-14 win over the Browns. He added three receptions on three targets for four yards.
EDGE Analysis
The Texans relied on C.J. Stroud for their scoring in the first half, as the rookie quarterback had three touchdowns. That, combined with a tough matchup against the Browns limited Singletary's production for much of the game, even though he out-touched Dameon Pierce 16-3. He managed to salvage his performance with a 19-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to tack on Houston's final score of the day. Singletary will continue to lead the team's backfield in the divisional round, though the offense is likely to run through Stroud once again.

Singletary rushed the ball 24 times for 63 yards in Saturday's 23-19 win over the Colts. He added one reception on one target for two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Singletary was the only Texans' running back to record a carry in the game. He was highly inefficient with the opportunity, as he averaged only 2.6 yards per rush and his longest gain went for only seven yards. Nevertheless, he scored the game-winning touchdown with just over six minutes remaining on a three-yard scamper into the end zone. Singletary will enter the postseason as Houston's clear lead back and should get a heavy workload regardless of the team's wild-card round matchup.

Singletary rushed the ball 16 times for 80 yards in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Titans. He added three catches on three targets for six yards.
EDGE Analysis
Singletary's volume bounced back relative to his Week 16 performance, though he was once again affected by game script. He saw only half of the Texans' 14 rushing attempts in the final two quarters with the team in control of the game, which limited his final stat line. While Singletary will maintain a lead in touches over Dameon Pierce, he has now been held under 100 total yards in five of his last six games.

Singletary carried the ball nine times for 44 yards and caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
The running back was effective on the ground once again, with his longest gain going for 17 yards, but Singletary's workload dwindled as the game got away from the Texans. Since his breakout performance in Week 10, Singletary has amassed 689 scrimmage yards in seven games with three rushing TDs and a 4.8 yards per carry average. He should be more involved in Week 17 against the Titans.

Singletary rushed the ball 26 times for 121 yards in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Titans. He added four receptions on five targets for 49 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Singletary dominated work out of the Texans backfield, as Dameon Pierce saw only one total touch. Singletary took advantage of the absence of Jeffery Simmons (knee) along the typically stout Tennessee defensive line, ripping off three runs for double-digit yards. His biggest gain of the day came on a 41-yard reception in overtime, which set up the game-winning field goal. Singletary now has over 100 yards from scrimmage in three of his last six games -- two of which came with Pierce sidelined -- and he has established himself as the clear lead back in the Houston backfield heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Browns.

Singletary rushed 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown while failing to catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Singletary was the only member of Houston's offense that enjoyed a modicum of success, as C.J. Stroud threw for only 91 yards before exiting in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion, while Dameon Pierce had just four carries for nine yards. After rushing for 64 yards in the first half, Singletary was fittingly the player that got the Texans on the board, scoring a one-yard rushing touchdown on the final play of the third quarter. Singletary seems to be nudging ahead of Pierce in Houston's backfield, but the entire offense would have a far less rosy outlook if Stroud fails to clear concussion protocol before the team's Week 15 game against the Titans.

Sun 12/3/23 10:06 PM

Singletary rushed the ball eight times for 36 yards in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Broncos. He added one reception on one target for four yards.
EDGE Analysis
Singletary entered Sunday having seen double-digit touches in six straight games. However, that streak ended as he fell behind Dameon Pierce in terms of workload Sunday, with Pierce drawing 15 touches to Singletary's nine. The Texans held a comfortable lead for much of this matchup, which led to a game script that fell more into Pierce's style. In games that Houston falls behind, Singletary may see his role increase again, but his volume appears to be unreliable for the time being.

Sun 11/26/23 6:23 PM

Singletary rushed six times for 18 yards while catching six of seven targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
After a three-week run as Houston's lead back, Singletary split carries with Dameon Pierce (ankle) in Pierce's first action since Week 8. Neither running back found much rushing success, as Pierce finished with just 14 yards on five rushing attempts. Singletary was far more involved as a pass catcher out of the backfield, setting season highs in targets, catches and receiving yards while Pierce had just one reception. With a Week 13 home game against Denver's generous run defense up next, both members of Houston's backfield timeshare will be looking to bounce back on the ground.
