Davis (hamstring) won't play Sunday against the Seahawks, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Davis unavailable, look for Rishard Matthews and Eric Decker to head the Titans' Week 3 wideout corps, with Taywan Taylor a candidate to pick up some added snaps in Sunday's contest.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey said Monday he considered Davis (hamstring) day-to-day, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone reports.
EDGE Analysis
This was to be expected considering Davis returned to Sunday's game in the fourth quarter after aggravating what seems to be the same injury that bothered him throughout August. He finished with only one catch for four yards on three targets in a 37-16 win over Jacksonville, failing to build on his impressive NFL debut the previous week. Davis likely will be on the injury report for Week 3 against Seattle, but his ability to rejoin Sunday's contest suggests he'll have a chance to play. Of course, the Titans could opt for a conservative approach with the hope that some rest would allow Davis to finally put the hamstring issue in his rear-view mirror.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey acknowledged that Davis is dealing with a hamstring injury, freelance sports writer John Glennon reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis returned to Sunday's 37-16 win over Jacksonville after suffering the injury, but he finished with only one catch for four yards on three targets. His ability to play through the issue suggests it isn't too serious, but it sounds as if he'll still be on the injury report ahead of a difficult Week 3 matchup with the Seahawks. The Titans may be pressed for depth if Davis isn't ready, as fellow rookie wideout Taywan Taylor suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's win.

Davis (hamstring) returned to Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis originally exited Sunday's contest limping with a hamstring injury, but the issue appears to have been minor as the Titans' coaching staff felt comfortable enough to deploy their rookie wideout during the fourth quarter. As of the two-minute warning, Davis has hauled in just one pass for four yards.

Davis suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's game against the Jaguars and is questionable to return, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean
EDGE Analysis
After an impressive professional debut in Week 1, Davis had been quiet for most of the afternoon prior to departing, hauling in one of three targets for four yards. The severity of Davis' hamstring injury likely won't be known until he's evaluated in the locker room, but it wouldn't be surprising if the team opted to err on the side of caution and hold him out for the rest of the contest.

Davis caught six of 10 targets for 69 yards in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Davis showed no ill effects from the hamstring injury that bothered him for most of the preseason, leading Tennessee in targets while finishing only one catch and seven yards behind team leader Delanie Walker. Fellow wide receiver Rishard Matthews was also heavily involved with 71 yards on nine targets while free agent addition Eric Decker struggled with just 10 yards on eight targets. The fifth overall pick out of Western Michigan should only excel further as he gets healthier and better acclimated to the NFL.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey said Davis will be used in specific situations Week 1 against Oakland, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone reports.
EDGE Analysis
The comment hints at a part-time role, even though Davis is listed as a starter over Eric Decker on the Titans' initial depth chart of the regular season. While the Titans undoubtedly envision big things for Davis in the future, he'll likely be eased into the offense over the next few weeks after missing all of the preseason and most of training camp with a hamstring injury.

Davis (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has missed the entire preseason to date since injuring his hamstring early in training camp. While he's unlikely to play in Thursday's exhibition finale against the Chiefs, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft appears poised to play in Week 1. A key role in the Titans' offense awaits the talented young wideout, but given that his first game reps as a pro figure to be in his regular season debut, a wait-and-see approach is in order, at least for the short term.

Davis (hamstring) is expected to be ready for Week 1 against the Raiders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The No. 5 overall draft pick hasn't practiced since Aug. 3 and isn't expected to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Chiefs. While all the missed time could impact his early-season involvement, Davis still figures to have a spot in three-wide formations whenever he's healthy enough to play. He'll presumably need to practice at least once next week in order to be cleared for the opener.

Davis (hamstring) will take part in a walkthrough Monday, but the chances he plays in Thursday's preseason finale versus the Chiefs are slim, Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis hasn't practiced since the beginning of August, so although he's only scheduled to be involved in a walkthrough Monday, it's at least good to hear he's back on the field in some capacity. That being said, the Titans would be wise to exercise caution with this year's fifth overall pick, making it unlikely he'll play Thursday. Although that would mean Davis enters his rookie season without any preseason experience, ensuring he's healthy as the regular season unfolds should take priority. Along with Davis, fellow wideout Eric Decker (ankle) is also working his way back from injury.
