Barth will sign with the Broncos on Tuesday after they cut Brandon McManus, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. McManus struggled with his accuracy this season, hitting only nine of 13 field goal attempts after beating out Matt Prater for the job when the latter returned from a four-game suspension. The field goal opportunities haven't been nearly as plentiful in Denver this year than last, though the Broncos' offense continues to move the ball well and could give Barth a decent number of opportunities for the stretch run, including some longer kicks in the thin Denver air.

Barth converted 3-of-3 PATs and made a 43-yard field goal in Saturday's preseason game against the Bills. Barth appears to be fully recovered from a torn Achilles tendon that forced him to miss the entire 2013 season, so he is all-but-certain to handle all of Tampa Bay's placekicking duties this season. Undrafted rookie Patrick Murray booted a 27-yard field goal Saturday, but will likely be cut from the roster prior to the regular season opener.

Bucs K Connor Barth is completely healed from the Achilles injury that sidelined him in 2013. "I'm making 61-yard field goals," Barth said. Barth was one of the most consistent kickers in the game before suffering the injury during a charity basketball last July. Barth's fantasy value has been held back by the tepidity of the Tampa Bay offense, but he is as solid an option as any in the fantasy kicking game.

Connor Barth (Achilles') hopes to resume kicking six months. Barth ruptured his right (kicking) tendon during a charity basketball game in his hometown of Wilmington, N.C. on Friday night. He's already had surgery and been placed on the non-football injury list, this ending his season. Lawrence Tynes will kick for the Bucs this season.

Bucs re-signed franchise player K Connor Barth to a four-year, $13.2 million contract. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal includes $4 million in guarantees. He was due $2.6 million under the franchise tag. Barth was arguably the Bucs' most consistent offensive weapon last year, banging home 26-of-28 field goals, including 13-of-14 from 40-49 yards out. Franchise players Matt Prater and Josh Scobee should better Barth's deal, as both also handle kickoffs.

Unsigned franchise player Connor Barth will join the Buccaneers when they kick off organized team activities on Tuesday. After setting a franchise record by nailing 92.9-percent of his field goals a season ago, Barth is looking for a long-term extension with an annual base salary near $3 million. The two sides have until July 15 to work out a deal, but it appears Barth will work out with his teammates in the meantime.

Unsigned franchise player Connor Barth was not present for the first day of Bucs' voluntary activities on Tuesday. As long as he's staying in shape, it's hardly a major issue for a kicker to miss offseason practices. Although Barth is in search of a long-term deal, he'll report once practices become mandatory.

Buccaneers assigned the franchise tag to K Connor Barth. Barth, 26, was Tampa Bay's most consistent offensive player in 2011, banging 26 of his 28 field goal attempts through the uprights. Whereas the Browns are guaranteeing K Phil Dawson north of $3.8 million because he's been tagged two years in a row, the Bucs will only owe Barth in the neighborhood of $2.6 million.
