Conley hauled in just two of four targets for 15 yards in Week 2 against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Conley followed up a respectable four-catch, 43-yard outing in Week 1 with a bit of a dud in Week 2. This is to be expected for the second-year wideout throughout the 2016 campaign. He may post the occasional outing that displays promise but it's unlikely to occur on a weekly basis.

Conley recorded four receptions for 43 yards on seven targets in Week 1 against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
What's more encouraging is that Conley played nearly as many snaps (61) as Jeremy Maclin (65) in the game and received the same number of targets. Alex Smith loves to spread the ball around, evidenced by five different players having six or more targets Sunday, but that also limits the upside for any single player. While Conley may have a few breakout performances, there's nothing at this point to suggest he will be a fantasy asset on a weekly basis.

Conley is listed as the team's second wideout for Week 1 against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Conley has displayed some spurts of potential throughout camp, and it's been enough for him to move ahead of last year's starter, Albert Wilson. While Jeremy Maclin, Travis Kelce and Jamaal Charles figure to be big targets in the passing game, the second-year wideout has the raw physical tools of a breakout candidate if he can get it all together.

Conley saw most of the action in two-receiver sets opposite Jeremy Maclin in Saturday's game but snagged just two of the five passes thrown his way for 30 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Conley appears to be the heavy favorite to start on Sundays, with Albert Wilson likely moving inside to play in three-receiver sets. The second-year wideout has the tools of a deep sleeper in 2016 but the question remains whether or not he can reach his potential, especially with other talented options (Jeremy Maclin, Travis Kelce, Jamaal Charles) slated to receive a large number of targets.

Conley caught three passes for 66 yards on three targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
According to Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star, Conley worked as the No. 2 wideout on the first-team offense, with Albert Wilson serving as the No. 3. Coming off a no-show in the preseason opener, Conley took a big step forward Saturday night, whereas Wilson caught just two passes for 13 yards on five targets. The job probably won't come with a lot of targets, but Conley could emerge as a major threat in the red zone.

Conley stood out at Wednesday's training camp practice, grabbing a touchdown pass in the back of the end zone despite good coverage by the team's top cornerback, Marcus Peters.
EDGE Analysis
Conley hasn't had a ton of buzz about him throughout camp but has reportedly had a pretty good camp to this point. He didn't appear in the stat book in the first preseason game but that should change as the preseason draws on. The second-year wideout remains locked in a battle for the no. 2 spot on the depth chart behind Jeremy Maclin, which should continue to play out throughout camp. Conley took a step in the right direction Wednesday, however.

Conley failed to haul in a pass or receive a target in Sunday's preseason action against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
In contention for the starting spot opposite Jeremy Maclin, Conley didn't do much to solidify himself in that role. That being said, the first preseason game doesn't result in much playing time for starters, so those considering the second-year wideout out of Georgia should look at his production as preseason goes on and comments by the coaching staff for a better prediction of where he will fit into the depth chart this season.

Conley has spent the offseason with veteran teammate Jeremy Maclin working on cutting and his footwork, the Kansas City Star reports. "For me, being a bigger guy - a guy who typically runs 100 miles an hour - it's hard for me to stop on a dime and make sharper cuts," Conley said. "It was really working on that, fine-tuning those cuts to where they were effective at getting someone moved off their spot."
EDGE Analysis
Conley possesses the physical tools (6-foot-2, 205 pounds with a 4.35 40 time) that coaches dream of, but was considered raw and in need of development coming out of Georgia last season. That proved to be the case, but it appears he's putting in the offseason work to fight for the No. 2 wideout spot opposite Maclin. With Albert Wilson reportedly playing inside in a slot role during minicamp, suggesting the job could be Conley's to lose at this point, but he will have to fend off the likes of veteran Rod Streater and rookies Demarcus Robinson and Tyreek Hill (among others) to ensure consistent playing time on Sundays this fall.

Conley caught two passes on thee targets for 22 yards in the regular season finale against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Conley benefited from Jeremy Maclin's brief departure from Sunday's contest, and caught his first pass since Nov. 22 against the Chargers. Considered a product coming out of Georgia, the third-round pick didn't make much of an impact in his rookie campaign, finishing with just 17 catches for 199 yards and a touchdown. Still, he remains the team's third receiver behind Jeremy Maclin and Albert Wilson, and another training camp could provide the youngster enough to pass Wilson on the depth chart if he can turn that potential into reality.

Offensive coordinator Doug Pederson indicated Thursday that the Chiefs plan to continue getting Conley involved in the offense. "He's got big play capability and you're starting to see that out of him and we've got to continue to find ways - not only work him into the game - to get him the football."
EDGE Analysis
While Pederson indicated Thursday a desire to continue implementing plays to keep the rookie wideout involved, Conley's production recently indicates otherwise. Over the past three game, the 23-year-old has just one target total, and he saw the field for just eight total snaps last week. It is possible that Conley will see a slight uptick in snap count, but it's also possible Pederson was just giving lip service to the media.
