The Rams signed Lance Dunbar, who could be a replacement for Cunningham (neck), the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dunbar and Cunningham are both pass-catching backs who have mostly been useful in obvious passing situations. It wouldn't make much sense to pair them on the same roster, though it's possible the Rams could give Cunningham another shot if he's willing to accept the veteran's minimum. Otherwise, Cunningham will look for another team in need of a third-down back and special teams contributor. He was solid in his specialized role in 2014 and 2015, but he only caught 16 passes for 91 yards in 11 appearances last season.

Cunningham (neck) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Rich Hammond of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham had already been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Seahawks after failing to practice throughout the short week, but the team has now elected to shut down Cunningham with the season nearing its conclusion. Malcolm Brown and Chase Reynolds would be in line to backup Todd Gurley, while Mike Thomas will likely return kicks with Cunningham out.

Cunningham (neck) has been ruled out for Thursday's tilt against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham was unable to practice throughout the Rams' short week, and is now set to miss his second consecutive game. Malcolm Brown and Chase Reynolds will be in line to provide depth at running back behind Todd Gurley, while Mike Thomas figures to return kicks during Cunningham's absence.

Cunningham (neck) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
With Cunningham sidelined Sunday, Mike Thomas or Pharoh Cooper could return kickoffs for the Rams, while Malcolm Brown and Chase Reynolds are on hand to work behind top back Todd Gurley.

Cunningham (neck) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham was unable to practice this week because of his neck problem, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he's inactive for Sunday's contest. While that would hurt the Rams in the return game, his absence would also figure to allow Malcolm Brown to serve as Todd Gurley's primary backup at running back.

Cunningham (neck) did not practice Wednesday, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham has been an afterthought in the Rams' offensive attack as of late. If he's unable to practice this week due to this unspecified neck injury, he could be removed from the game plan entirely.

According to head coach Jeff Fisher, Cunningham "probably won't do much this week" due to an undisclosed injury, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham had only one carry for negative-one yard in Week 13, proving that he is not much of a factor in the Rams offense. Stay updated on his progress, but whether he misses this week's game against the Falcons or not, it should not affect Los Angeles' already ineffective run game very significantly.

Cunningham had one carry for negative-one yard during Sunday's loss to New England.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham did return four kickoffs for 92 yards, but in the majority of fantasy leagues, those gains don't move the needle. At this point, Cunningham likely isn't worth a roster spot in most formats. Even if he ascended to the top of the depth chart, there likely isn't much upside, considering the inept Los Angeles offensive attack.

Cunningham caught his only target for 12 yards and didn't have a rushing attempt during Sunday's loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Since the Rams' Week 8 bye, Cunningham has rushed only 11 times for 57 yards and caught 10 passes for 48 yards through four games. While he's been effective on the ground (5.2 yards per attempt), his volume in the offense doesn't offer much fantasy upside. At this stage of the season, Cunningham is probably best viewed as an insurance policy for Todd Gurley owners or a lottery ticket in deep leagues.

Cunningham only saw the field on 17 offensive snaps and rushed twice for seven yards while catching just one of three targets for negative three yards during Sunday's loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham's involvement in the offense has been shifting between minimal and non-existent, and he offers very limited fantasy potential. Outside of being a desperation handcuff to Todd Gurley in deep leagues, it likely isn't worth owning Cunningham.
