Andre Johnson revealed Tuesday that he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in early May.
Johnson insists he experienced no pain before the surgery, and is in no pain now. He's sitting out OTAs, but fully expects to be ready for training camp. While this doesn't sound like a major concern, surgeries are beginning to pile up for Johnson entering his age-31 campaign. He had ankle surgery last offseason, and hamstring surgery during the year. Johnson remains locked in as a top-five fantasy receiver for 2012, but his recovery is worth tracking.

Andre Johnson secured a game-high eight catches for 111 yards in the Texans' Divisional round playoff loss to Baltimore.
After an injury-plagued regular season, Johnson racked up 201 playoff yards and a touchdown on 13 receptions. He was clearly over the hamstring problems by early January. Johnson turns 31 before next season, but is still playing at an All-Pro level when healthy. Owed a reasonable $6.5 million, he'll return as a candidate to be slightly undervalued in 2012 fantasy drafts.

Andre Johnson (hamstring) was limited in Texans practice Wednesday.

Coach Gary Kubiak confirmed Monday that Andre Johnson's balky hamstring emerged from Saturday's Wild Card win no worse for wear.
Johnson "came out of the game fine," said Kubiak, adding that his top receiver's snap count was in the mid-40s range. Johnson actually ended up playing 49-of-58 downs, hauling in five passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Andre Johnson hauled in five receptions for a team-high 90 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
Johnson was rusty early, failing to come down with a jumpball in the end zone and dropping a pass thrown behind him. He broke Cincinnati's back, though, staking the Texans to a two-touchdown lead on a 40-yard double-move score that embarrassed Pacman Jones. The Ravens don't have a cornerback who can hang with Johnson in the Divisional round next Sunday.

Andre Johnson (hamstring) is practicing fully this week.
"He looked really good," said coach Gary Kubiak. "He looked like himself today ... He feels himself getting stronger." Johnson is expected to be available for the majority of the offensive snaps on Saturday.

Coach Gary Kubiak said he wants Andre Johnson (hamstring) to play 45-50 snaps in Saturday's playoff opener against the Bengals.
Johnson saw about 20 snaps in Week 17 and felt healthy. However, Kubiak is wary of making Johnson an every-down receiver, even in a playoff game. "I don't think he's ready to play 70 plays," Kubiak said. "We don't want him doing that anyway. We want him playing 45 to 50 good ones, and I think he'll be ready to do that." That 45-50 number is more than enough for Johnson to have a difference-making effect.

Andre Johnson caught two passes for 21 yards in Week 17 before taking a seat for the remainder of the game.
Johnson played primarily in the first half as the Texans stuck to their snap-count limit on his playing time. He finishes the regular season with 33 catches for 492 yards and two touchdowns, missing all but seven games with hamstring injuries. This was just a tune-up game for him. Johnson's games played, catches, yardage, and touchdown totals are all career lows, but he will be 100 percent for the postseason. Houston has the AFC's No. 3 seed.

Andre Johnson is active for Week 17 against the Titans, as expected.
Just don't expect him to play much. The Texans are sitting starters in Week 17. Here's their inactives list: RB Arian Foster, CB Johnathan Joseph, TE Owen Daniels, QB Jeff Garcia, CB Sherrick McManis, S Troy Nolan, and OG Mike Brisiel.
