Aaron Kampman and Jeremy Mincey were the Jaguars first-team defensive ends at Wednesday's practice.
Kampan is expected to make his season debut after undergoing a second ACL tear recovery this offseason. He'll likely be eased in as part of a rotation that will also involve Matt Roth and Austen Lane.

Jaguars DE Aaron Kampman (knee) is expected to make his season debut in Week 6 against the Steelers.
Kampman might have been able to play at Cincinnati, but the Jags held him out to target what they viewed as a more competitive opponent. Kampman figures to be eased in, playing behind LE Matt Roth and RE Jeremy Mincey. He may play in obvious passing situations at first. The Jags have eight sacks through five games -- fourth fewest in the NFL -- so they need all the help they can get.

Jaguars DE Aaron Kampman (knee) is expected to miss Week 5.
Kampman remains out indefinitely as his recovery from a second ACL tear continues to move slowly. The Jaguars' defense has held up surprisingly well without its top pure pass rusher. Jeremy Mincey has been the most often-used Jags defensive end, but doesn't have a sack. Matt Roth is the starting right end.

Jaguars DE Aaron Kampman (knee) has a chance to return for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
In each of the past two weeks, Kampman has been ruled out before the week even got going. On Monday, coach Jack Del Rio left the door open. Kampman has missed the last 12 games dating back to last season after tearing his ACL in a practice drill. The Jags have just six sacks through four games this season.

Jaguars declared DE Aaron Kampman (knee) inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.
The Jags are going to try to slow down the Saints' offense without Kampman and starting corner Derek Cox (groin). Backup corner Will Middleton figures to be tested often by Drew Brees. Other Jaguars inactives: RB Montell Owens, WR Kassim Osgood, T Cameron Bradfield, C/G Jason Spitz and S Courtney Greene.

Aaron Kampman (knee) is not expected to return for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Kampman has yet to play in a game this season as he continues to recover from his November 2010 ACL tear. Through three games, the Jaguars have posted just three sacks. Only the Bills have less sacks with two.

Head coach Jack Del Rio said Sunday that Aaron Kampman (knee) will be out for Week 3.
Kampman still has no timetable for a return, and in the meantime Matt Roth and Jeremy Mincey will see time on the defensive edges. You don't need us to tell you to avoid Kampman in IDP leagues.

Jaguars DE Aaron Kampman was spotted at the team facility Monday with a full leg brace on his troublesome right knee.
Kampman had a setback last week, and has no timetable to return. "I wish I had more certainty, myself," he conceded Monday. Against the Titans, the Jags started Matt Roth at right defensive end with Jeremy Mincey on the left side.

It's uncertain when Aaron Kampman (knee) will return.
Kampman was a late scratch in Week 1 as he is still recovering from his second ACL tear in as many years. Even once he gets active, the ex-Packer is slated to be used as a rotational end. There's not much IDP upside here.

Jaguars declared DE Aaron Kampman, DB Rod Issac, CB Kevin Rutland, C John Estes, RT Eben Britton, TE Zach Miller, and WR Jarett Dillard inactive for Week 1 against the Titans.
We're not sure how the Jaguars are going to stop even a relatively mediocre Tennessee offense with their current lineup. Kampman, easily the team's best pass rusher, has recovered slowly from his latest ACL tear. Miller is injured, as is often the case. With Dillard inactive, it appears rookie Cecil Shorts has won the team's third wideout and slot receiver job.
