Collins will start Saturday's game against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Collins gets his second start of the season with Jakob Poeltl (back) sidelined. Collins saw just 17 minutes in his first start but set season highs with 19 minutes and 15 points as a sub in his most recent game.

Collins racked up 15 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block across 19 minutes during Friday's 104-102 victory over the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Collins saw a season-high 19 minutes in the victory, coming through with his best game of the season. Since returning to action in early February, Collins has been able to carve out a regular spot in the rotation. His production has been a bit up and down, which is not surprising given his lengthy layoff, and so he is not a player to be targeting outside of very deep formats.

Collins scored five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt) while adding 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 18 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 123-117 loss to the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
The former Portland center has arguably his best game yet since finally joining the Spurs lineup, recording double-digit boards and multiple blocks for the first time this season. Collins has yet to see even 20 minutes in a game behind Jakob Poeltl, however, limiting his fantasy utility to DFS formats.

Collins will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collins drew a spot start Saturday against the Heat due to the absence of Jakob Poeltl (back), but with Poeltl back in action Monday, Collins will go back to a reserve role. He's averaging 5.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 16.2 minutes in his last six matchups off the bench.

Collins (rest) will play Saturday against the Heat but is expected to be on a minutes restriction, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was initially reported that Collins would get a rest day Saturday, but it sounds like he's now expected to see about 15 minutes (or less) of court time against Miami. Jock Landale is still likely to see extra minutes in San Antonio's frontcourt due to Collins' minutes restriction.

Collins will not play in Saturday's game against the Wizzards for rest purposes, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collins has played just six games this season after being sidelined since August of 2020. Thus, the Spurs plan to err on the side of caution and rest him on back-to-backs. Look for him to return to action Monday against Memphis.

Collins (ankle) isn't on the injury report for Monday's game against the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Collins was unavailable Saturday against New Orleans but should be back in action following a one-game absence. He averaged 6.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game across his last three appearances.

Collins (ankle) is out Saturday against the Pelicans, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Collins has appeared in each of the last three games, and he averaged 6.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 15.7 minutes per contest during that time. He'll sit out the second half of a back-to-back set Saturday, which should lead to increased run for Jock Landale.

Collins (ankle) provided 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals across 13 minutes Friday in the Spurs' 131-106 win over the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Collins' Spurs debut -- and his first appearance at the NBA level since August 2020 -- went about as well as the team could have envisioned. After signing him to a three-year contract this summer, San Antonio was careful to ease Collins back into action following multiple surgeries on his left foot/ankle, but the 24-year-old impressed in his initial appearances with the Spurs' G League affiliate in January before getting the call to the NBA club Friday. He stepped in as the top backup to starting center Jakob Poeltl and made a case to keep that role over Jock Landale (concussion) moving forward with an impressive outing during his limited time on the court. Unless the Spurs are willing to give Collins some more run at power forward, his path to steady minutes is somewhat blocked, but at the very least, the 24-year-old put himself on the radar in deep leagues with Friday's performance.

Collins (conditioning) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Collins has been out since August of 2020, with ankle and foot injuries derailing the early portion of his career. The Spurs gave him eight warm-up games in the G League this season, where he averaged 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 blocks in 25.8 minutes. Now, after getting his conditioning up, he's ready to potentially make his season and team debut Friday. Assuming Collins sees the court, he probably will have his workload monitored, and fantasy managers shouldn't expect significant minutes out of Collins in the near future. However, with the team struggling and unlikely to make the playoffs, we may see a bump in playing time after the All-Star break and down the final stretch of the regular season.
