Collins was moved into the starting lineup Saturday in place of Jakob Poeltl (back), and he came through with his second double-digit rebound effort over his past four contests. The big man did snap a four-game streak of double-digit scoring performances, however, as he took only five shots from the field. Collins has become an increasingly important part of the Spurs' rotation down the stretch and could be a key frontcourt factor in the team's play-in game(s) during the coming week.

Collins produced 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 21 minutes during Monday's 123-120 win over the Rockets.

The Spurs are showing great confidence in Collins, who logged more than 20 minutes for the second time in three games. Collins' biggest concern is staying healthy, as the big man has played only 32 games over the past two seasons. If he can stave off injury, he'll play a key role in the team's run for a playoff spot.

Collins accumulated five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and four blocks over 19 minutes during Monday's 149-139 loss to the Timberwolves.

With Jakob Poeltl available after resting the second half of a back-to-back set Saturday, Collins returned to his usual bench role. He played his typical 15-20 minutes and blocked a season-high four shots, but Collins, who made his season debut in February, continues to search for his offensive rhythm after being sidelined from NBA action since August 2020.

Collins finished with nine points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block over 20 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Pacers.

Despite the promotion, Collins remained on a minutes restriction and failed to deliver a 12-team worthy line.
