Barton scored 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 116-111 loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Barton has been on a roll since missing three games with an ankle injury. He has played at least 33 minutes in all four games since the injury, and is averaging 18.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks. That kind of value across all categories is very rare, and Barton should be owned and started in all formats as long as he can keep this up.

Barton scored 22 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-7 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 35 minutes during Monday's 106-98 victory over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Barton is averaging 19. 6 points on 50 percent shooting from the field since returning from a sprained left ankle on Dec. 2 and has upped his points per game to 13.6 on the year. The shooting guard has only made an appearance in nine games thus far but looks to be finally healthy -- he's logged at least 30 minutes in three straight games -- and is beginning to score the ball at a consistent and impressive rate.

Barton (ankle) registered 20 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block across 34 minutes in Saturday's 105-98 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
After missing 12 games during a 15-game stretch due to a sprained left ankle, Barton returned to action for both halves of the Nuggets' weekend back-to-back set and turned in an excellent pair of outings. Barton has reclaimed his spot in the starting lineup and has seen 30-plus minute workloads in the two games, so it would appear the Nuggets are no longer worried about his health. Fantasy owners should have no qualms about keeping him active heading into the upcoming week.

Barton (ankle) will be the Nuggets' starting shooting guard for Saturday's game against the Jazz, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton carried a probable designation into Saturday's game, and he will be able to take the floor and start as expected. Barton tallied 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists over 33 minutes in Friday night's loss to the Rockets.

Barton (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Jazz, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the first nine games of November with a sprained ankle Barton returned for three games. He then subsequently sat out the next three while dealing with soreness in the aforementioned ankle. He apparently is feeling better, as the shooting guard tallied 17 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal across 33 minutes in his return to the court Friday. With Gary Harris remaining sidelined, Barton figures to be in line for another healthy workload Saturday. However, coach Mike Malone may play it safe with him, as it is the second night of a back-to-back set. Regardless, Barton should be locked in for starter's minutes going forward.

Barton (ankle) started at shooting guard and recorded 17 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Friday's 128-110 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Barton missed the first nine games of November with a sprained ankle and had sat out the past three games after he continued to deal with soreness shortly after returning, but he looked like he was at full strength Friday. Coach Michael Malone immediately inserted him onto the top unit and handed him hefty minutes right off the bat, indicating that Barton should be in line for a sizable role, at least until Gary Harris (foot) returns. The Nuggets could opt to rest him or limit his playing time a bit in the second half of their back-to-back set Saturday against the Jazz, but Barton should be locked in for starter's minutes thereafter.

Barton (ankle) will play in Friday's game against the Rockets, Chris Haynes of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This was expected, as it was reported on Thursday that Barton was likely to play in Friday's matchup with Houston. Barton has missed 11 of the team's past 14 games, and in the three games he has played in that stretch, he was the starting shooting guard, so it's likely he will assume that role once again. That move will send Jameer Nelson back to the bench, but both he and Jamal Murray could still potentially play solid minutes as Barton still works to get back to 100 percent.

Barton (ankle) is likely to play Friday against Houston, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton has been absent from three straight games in addition to missing 11 of the past 14 games for the Nuggets due to a lingering ankle injury. He was able to participate in practice Tuesday, which is encouraging that he'll suit up Friday. However, if he continues to be sidelined, expect Jameer Nelson to hold down the starting shooting guard position while Jamal Murray sees extra time off the bench.

Barton (ankle) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Heat, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton was a participant in practice on Tuesday, but it appears the Nuggets are going to continue to remain cautious, keeping him sidelined for a third straight game Wednesday. Look for Jameer Nelson to remain in the starting lineup at shooting guard, while Jamal Murray should get extended run off the bench again as well.

Barton (ankle) is considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton took part in practice Tuesday but it appears as though he's still ailed by the sore ankle that's cost him 11 of the last 14 games. While Barton hasn't officially been ruled out, don't expect the Memphis product to take the floor Wednesday.
