Barton registered 23 points (5-12 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during a 108-100 win over the Wizards on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Barton was excellent on the offensive and defensive ends in Friday's victory. He eclipsed the 20-point mark for the third time across the last five games, and impressively had at least two blocks for the fourth time across the last five games. Barton's value will drop slightly when Gary Harris (knee) returns, but he's playing quite well at the moment.

Barton compiled 22 points (8-21 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks in 45 minutes during Monday's 149-141 loss to the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Barton moved into the starting five with Gary Harris (knee) on the sidelines. The versatile Barton was able to chip in across the board with his only downside being his efficiency. He is going to be getting all the minutes he can handle for at least the next week with Harris set to miss some more time, and he should clearly be owned in all leagues despite some of his questionable decision making at times.

Barton will enter the starting five for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Nuggets are slated to be without Gary Harris (knee) for the next 3-to-4 games, which means Barton's stay in the top unit should last at least the next week. Over his last five games, Barton was already averaging 29.8 minutes off the bench, so he'll likely only see a slight uptick in his playing time with the promotion. Either way, it's a positive development for those who own Barton in fantasy leagues.

Barton produced 23 points (8-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 31 minutes during Thursday's 120-113 victory over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Barton turned things around after a couple of dud performances, helping the Nuggets to a victory. Gary Harris left the game with a knee injury and if he is forced to miss time, Barton could be in line for some additional responsibilities. Barton's strength is his ability to cover a number of positions and this could be the case as the Nuggets look to win as many games as they can in an attempt to snatch the final playoff berth.

Barton registered eight points (3-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 25 minutes in Tuesday's 112-103 loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
After an extended stretch of robust and well-rounded fantasy production -- most of it coming with him as a member of the starting five -- Barton has hit the skids a bit over the last four games, and his shot is largely to blame. He's averaging a modest 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists across 29.3 minutes during that span, while draining only 35.1 percent of his 9.3 attempts per contest, including 25.0 percent from three-point range. However, Barton is still averaging career highs for the season in virtually every category and has thrived in a second-unit role on countless occasions, so fantasy owners shouldn't read his current slump as anything more than temporary at this point.

Barton will shift back to a bench role for Sunday's matchup with the Kings, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton picked up the spot start Friday in place of Wilson Chandler (hip), posting 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 39 minutes. However, Chandler has since been cleared for a return and will immediately slot back in to the top unit, which sends Barton back to his typical bench role. Despite the demotion, Barton will still likely be looking at a 30-plus minute role off the bench, which keeps him relevant in the bulk of fantasy leagues.

Barton will draw the start at small forward for Friday's game against the Lakers, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton will replace Wilson Chandler (hip) in the starting unit. He has averaged 15.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists across 32.9 minutes as a starter this season, which are almost identical to his averages as a reserve.

Barton scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding eight rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in 31 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 118-107 loss to the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
With Paul Millsap back in the lineup, Barton has returned to his role leading the second unit, but that hasn't slowed down his production. The 27-year-old is averaging 20.5 points, 7.3 boards, 5.3 assists and 2.8 three-pointers in four games since Millsap's return, and Barton should continue seeing heavy minutes as the Nuggets' sixth man while the club clings to a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Barton tallied 23 points (9-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds and seven assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 126-117 win over the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Barton came off the bench yet again, but he played the second most minutes on the team while leading the charge in both rebounds and assists. He's been in an excellent run of form lately, averaging 21.3 points, six rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.8 treys per game over his last eight. Denver seemingly finally has its full complement of options available, but Barton is thriving as a dynamic option off the bench and is maintaining a high usage level.

Barton posted 24 points (10-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 108-102 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Now that Paul Millsap has returned, Barton and Wilson Chandler will be duking it out for playing time. While Denver has elected to start Chandler at the wing, it doesn't favor Chandler's skill set and Barton should still see plenty of minutes at the three and four, splitting time between the first and second unit. The real loser here is probably Trey Lyles, who will be buried in the depth chart moving forward. You should expect both Barton and Chandler to see a slight reduction in production moving forward.
