Barton (hip) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Warriors, T.J. McBride of Mile High Sports reports.

Barton was wheeled off the court in a stretcher after suffering a hip injury in Saturday's game against the Suns, so it's not too surprising that he isn't playing. The severity of the injury hasn't been announced at this time, so he should be considered questionable moving forward, with his next chance to play coming on Tuesday against the Kings. Torrey Craig entered for Barton when he was forced to exit Saturday's game, and he should continue to see an increased role with Barton out.

Barton will become an unrestricted free agent this summer and should command big bucks on the open market.

Barton crossed the 20-point threshold and 50.0 percent shooting mark for the third time in four April contests. The veteran wing continues to be a virtual lock for approximately 15 shot attempts per night, a level of aggressiveness that's helping keep his final stat lines robust. As usual, the sixth-year pro also remains active on the boards, as he's now hauled in between six and 10 rebounds in five of the last six contests.

Barton dropped in 31 points (11-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with three assists, two rebounds and one block across 32 minutes during Saturday's 134-115 win over the Clippers.

Barton was efficient from the floor and deadly from behind the arc en route to his highest point total since Nov. 30. He didn't do as much as he usually does elsewhere in the box score, but the scoring outburst propelled him to another useful fantasy performance. Barton will aim to build off his big game Monday against the Blazers.

Barton turned in one of his typically well-balanced lines, turning in his ninth straight double-digit scoring effort in the process. The veteran wing continues to typically put up double-digit shot attempts and offer solid work across the rest of the stat sheet, leading to impressive averages of 17.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steal across a robust 39.0 minutes across the first three games of April.

Barton totaled 24 points (10-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Monday's 102-96 victory over Indiana.

EDGE Analysis

Barton recorded double-digit rebounds for the second consecutive game, adding 24 points and two steals. His efficiency and decision making remain questionable at times, however, his fantasy value continues to hold steady thanks to his ability to contribute in a number of areas. Gary Harris (knee) is likely to miss even more time meaning Barton is locked in for minutes and remains a must-own player in all formats.

Barton contributed 25 points (8-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists, and one rebound in 36 minutes during Monday's 123-104 loss to the 76ers.

EDGE Analysis

Barton got off to a scalding start, and while he eventually cooled off, he finished with a game-high 25 points on just 15 field-goal attempts. Barton has now scored at least 22 points in three of the last four games, drained five threes in consecutive contests, and continues to be among the most well-rounded wings in the league.
