Barton (hamstring) is out for Friday's game against the Jazz, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barton will log his eighth consecutive absence Friday. His next chance to play will come Saturday versus the Nets, but the Nuggets haven't offered any real reason for optimism that Barton will retake the court then.

Barton (hamstring) will not play Monday against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the sixth straight absence for Barton, who, like teammate Monte Morris, continues to deal with a strained right hamstring. Both players are without a firm timetable, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the pair misses another full week.

Barton will be sent in for an MRI on Saturday after suffering a right hamstring strain in Friday's 118-97 loss to the Warriors, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Denver hasn't officially ruled Barton out for the second half of its back-to-back set Saturday versus Houston, but that appears to be a foregone conclusion after he strained his hamstring less than a minute into Friday's contest and didn't return. With Jamal Murray (knee) out for the season and Monte Morris (hamstring) facing an uncertain timeline to return, Barton's injury is yet another blow to the Denver backcourt. Look for the Nuggets to roll with Facundo Campazzo, PJ Dozier, Austin Rivers and Shaquille Harrison as their primary guards Saturday.

Barton exited Friday's game against the Warriors due to a right hamstring strain and won't return.
EDGE Analysis
Barton went down with a non-contact injury less than a minute into Friday's contest and was immediately helped to the locker room. It's not yet clear whether Barton will play in the second half of the back-to-back set Saturday against Houston.

Barton notched 28 points (8-19 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven assists, six rebounds, a steal and a block across 44 minutes in Monday's double overtime win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Barton was one of the heroes for the Nuggets on Monday, as he hit a clutch three-pointer at the end of the first overtime period to extend the game even further. The 28 points represent a season-high mark for the Memphis product, who ended a streak of four games with 13 or fewer points in style. He's always shown the ability to be a capable scorer, and while his role as a starter boosts his upside, Barton's value will always be capped until he can find more consistency in his game on a game-to-game basis.

Barton had 12 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two assists, a rebound and a steal across 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Barton was one of six Denver players that scored in double digits, but he was far from efficient. The former Memphis standout has failed to reach the 15-point mark in five of his last six contests while shooting just 35.6 percent from the field in that span.
