Tim Duncan (rest) is expected to play in Monday's game against the Hornets. Duncan was given the night off on Saturday in an effort to preserve his 35-year-old body. He's back tonight as the Spurs try to snap a two-game losing streak. Duncan is averaging career lows in points (12.6), rebounds (7.3), blocks (1.1), field-goal percentage (46.9) and minutes 26.8) this season.

Tim Duncan will not play against the Rockets on Saturday. He's not hurt, but with four games in five nights, Gregg Popovich is giving him the night off. Matt Bonner will start in his place.

Coach Gregg Popovich hinted that Tim Duncan will get a game off soon. Duncan has played in all 13 games so far, logging 26.3 minutes per night. He needs a break if he his creaky 35-year-old body is going to make it through the season. Popovich hasn't decided on what game Duncan will rest yet, but one of this week's back-to-backs would make sense.

The Spurs won in San Antonio on Sunday behind Tim Duncan's 24 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks. Duncan is being leaned on a bit heavier while Manu Ginobili is sidelined, and he's scored double-digit points in all but one game this month. He shot an impressive 10-of-14 tonight and did his damage in just 31 minutes.

Tim Duncan had 17 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks on 7-of-17 shooting in Wednesday's overtime win. He was great on Tuesday as well and is averaging 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, six assists, two steals and 2.5 blocks over his last two games. If he was dropped in your league go get him while he's hot.

Tim Duncan finally had a good game on Tuesday with 20 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, a steal and three blocks on 9-of-12 shooting. Despite all that, the Spurs lost to the Bucks. Duncan had been highly inconsistent coming into this game and may have even been dumped in your league. If that is the case, think about grabbing him after tonight's breakout performance.

After playing just 20 minutes on Saturday, Tim Duncan finished Sunday's loss to the Thunder with 11 points (5-of-13 shooting) and seven rebounds in 23 minutes. Duncan has cracked 30 minutes once in nine games, and his production will continue to vary with the vicissitudes of coach Gregg Popovich. Against the Thunder, Duncan sat out most of the second half because the Spurs fell too far behind.

Tim Duncan had 10 points, two rebounds and five assists in Saturday's victory, but played just 20 minutes. Duncan didn't have a single foul, but in this game coach Gregg Popovich just seemed to prefer lineups that didn't feature Father Time. Fantasy owners should get used to the muted production and occasional disappearing acts from Duncan -- the Spurs will limit his minutes to protect him, but more importantly, his game has seriously deteriorated.

Tim Duncan hit just 4-of-13 shots in 27 minutes, but finished Saturday's game with 12 points, nine boards and a block. He was benched in his last game and is being dropped in some fantasy leagues. While he's going to likely be a mess at times this year, on the whole he still holds value as a fantasy big man. If he was dropped in your league, think about grabbing him, but be prepared for inconsistent minutes and production from Duncan, especially since he plays for Gregg Popovich.
