Samuel Dalembert (illness) is with the Mavericks on Thursday, though it's unclear how much he might play vs. the Spurs. If he is unable to play against the Spurs Thursday night, DeJuan Blair should pick up some minutes against his former team.

In his previous five games he'd averaged 2.2 points on 18.8 percent shooting, and DeJuan Blair recently replaced him in the starting lineup, so it wasn't hard to see this coming. When asked how the Mavericks can spark Dalembert's game, assistant coach Monte Mathis replied, "I think that's on him. I think he's got to jump-start himself."

Samuel Dalembert scored 11 points with six boards, one steal and three blocks in 27 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday. He was back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Monday due to missing part of shootaround. Dalembert is putting up some decent numbers while starting, averaging 7.8 points, 7.0 boards and 1.3 blocks on 61.2 percent from the field in his previous 13 starts. He's worth a look for owners needing a center as long as he's logging 24 minutes per game.

This type of disappointment has been on Sammy's calling card for a while now, so those that picked him up expecting some consistency are in for some disappointment. However, he blocks enough shots and grabs enough boards to remain owned in standard leagues for now, but his value could take a hit once Brandan Wright comes back.

Maybe Dally heard Brandan Wright's footsteps, as Wright will reportedly be returning sometime in the next week or so, but in all seriousness he has been staying out of trouble with Rick Carlisle and getting it done for fantasy owners. It's going to be interesting to see how Carlisle handles Wright's return, as Dalembert and DeJuan Blair have been playing well within clearly defined roles.
