The big man is off to another strong start, leading the league in rebounding (17.6 RPG) and posting a double-double in six of his first seven games. He finished Tuesday's win over the Kings with 12 points, 20 boards, one assist, one steal and four blocks.

Gobert was quiet from the field in the victory but delivered his typical serving of boards and blocks. As option four or five on the offensive end, fantasy managers are used to these types of disappearing acts. While a steadier stream of points would be nice. you take what you can get and just sit back and enjoy the elite aspects he brings on a nightly basis.

Gobert totaled 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 19 rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 107-99 loss to the Bulls.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert continues his tremendous start to the season, putting up yet another double-double. He was able to neutralize Nikola Vucevic, keeping him to just 4-of-19 shooting. Despite his sturdy defense, the Jazz fell short, suffering their first loss of the season. The Jazz are almost certainly going to be pushing for the top seed in the West yet again, meaning Gobert should be able to maintain his current production.

Gobert recorded 23 points (7-8 FG, 9-16 FT), 16 rebounds and a block across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 122-110 win over the Nuggets.

EDGE Analysis

The seven-foot center is off to a big start to the season, having racked up no fewer than 16 points and 16 rebounds in any of his three outings. As per usual, Gobert has been a liability at the charity stripe (68.8 percent on 10.7 attempts per game), but he's converting at a sky-high rate from the field (70.8 percent on 8.0 attempts per game).

EDGE Analysis

Gobert has opened the season with back-to-back double-doubles. While that shouldn't be surprising considering he posted that feat 58 times in 2020-21, it's noteworthy that he's already pulled down 41 rebounds through two games. He registered seven games with at least 20 rebounds during the 2020-21 regular season.

Gobert recorded 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 FT), 21 rebounds and one block in 29 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Thunder.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert had his way with the Thunder, putting up the first of what could be many double-doubles. His role is about as secure as you will find anywhere in the league and his durability only adds to his overall fantasy value. Managers likely parted with a second-round draft pick to secure his services and based on the facts in front of us, he should be able to meet that value moving forward.

Gobert is starting Monday's preseason game against the Pelicans, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gobert was held out of each of the first two exhibitions, as the Jazz aimed to get him some extra rest before the regular season. He'll start alongside Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O'Neale.
