Gobert (COVID-19 protocols) is expected to play Wednesday against the Suns, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two missed games, Gobert returned to practice Tuesday, and there seems to be little concern regarding his conditioning. It's possible he still ends up on the injury report as probable, but coach Chris Finch indicated Gobert should be fine. He should re-join the starters, pushing Kyle Anderson back to the bench.

Gobert (COVID-19 protocols) cleared protocols and practiced Tuesday, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the past two games, there's a good chance Gobert will be available Wednesday. He may need to work on his conditioning, but information about that should emerge if it's an issue. Expect the Timberwolves to release an official status on his availability after practice Tuesday or sometime after shootaround Wednesday.

Gobert (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert landed in health and safety protocols Saturday and will a second straight game after playing through what was described as a non-COVID illness Friday. In Gobert's absence, Naz Reid and Taurean Prince are candidates for increased roles, but Karl Anthony-Towns figures to take on added usage as well.

Gobert won't play in Saturday's game against the Rockets and is listed in the league's health and safety protocols.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert was listed as questionable for Friday's game but ultimately played through an illness. He's now been placed in health and safety protocols, preventing him from suiting up for at least a contest. His next chance to play arrives Monday versus the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns should take on increased usage. Naz Reid and Taurean Prince are candidates to see extra minutes and/or join the starting five.

Gobert (illness) will play in Friday's matchup with the Bucks, Dane Moore of BringMeTheNews.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert's status was up in the air due to an illness, but he will ultimately play through the aliment. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual role as the team's starting center.

Gobert posted seven points (0-1 FG, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one block over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 116-107 loss to the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert had a season-low one field-goal attempt during Tuesday's defeat, but he propped up his scoring output with a perfect showing at the charity stripe. However, he's now been held to single-digit scoring totals in back-to-back games, and Tuesday's matchup marked the third time this season that he was held below 10 rebounds. The 30-year-old has been relatively productive over his first eight appearances with Minnesota, averaging 13.3 points and 14.0 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game.

Gobert recorded 22 points (7-11 FG, 8-12 FT), 21 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 111-102 win over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
With Anthony Davis (back) out of the lineup, Gobert had a field day against Damian Jones, who had no answer for Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns in the frontcourt. While the Timberwolves entered the season with some debate about how the Towns-Gobert tandem would work, things seem to be swimmingly. Towns' floor-stretching shotmaking is as good as ever, and Gobert is thriving inside defensively, doing what he does best.

Gobert accumulated 15 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one block over 25 minutes during Sunday's 116-106 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert turned in yet another massive performance on the glass in this one, recording his second double-double in three games so far this season. Though the sample size is small, the big man is averaging an eye-popping 18 boards through three contests and is a solid 21-for-34 from the field to kick off the year. Gobert should also continue to serve as one of fantasy managers' top options for blocks in 2022-23.

Gobert chipped in nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 FT), 23 rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's 132-126 overtime loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Playing against the team with whom he spent the first nine years of his NBA career, Gobert did his usual heavy lifting on the boards, grabbing a game-high 23 rebounds. However, he uncharacteristically made less than half his field-goal attempts, and he missed two big free-throws near the end of overtime that could have tied the score. Gobert has never been a good free-throw shooter, but fantasy managers who drafted him did so for his blocks and boards, and the big man has been business-as-usual in those areas in his first two games with Minnesota.
