The Bulls signed Nembhard to an Exhibit 10 contract and waived him Tuesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

After being waived by the Bulls, Nembhard is expected to join the club's G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls. The 26-year-old guard appeared in 33 outings with the G League's Capital City Go-Go last season, averaging 17.0 points, 6.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds across 32.3 minutes per game.

Nembhard was traded from the G League's Windy City Bulls to the Raptors 905 on Friday in exchange for Reggie Perry, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Nembhard hasn't appeared in any G League games since December but will now be on the move. It's not yet clear whether he'll have a role for the Raptors 905 down the stretch.

Nembhard posted 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and a steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 116-106 loss to Iowa.

Nembhard shot 66.7 percent from the floor Friday and scored in double figures for a fifth consecutive game. Over that stretch, he's converted 51.1 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Nembhard compiled 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-4 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes during Friday's 123-107 win over Grand Rapids.

Nembhard shot 66.7 percent from the floor Friday and scored in double figures for a second consecutive game while also coming within one assist of a double-double. He's now averaging 13.0 points and 4.5 assists in 28.1 minutes per game this year.

Nembhard logged 12 points (3-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes during Thursday's 106-96 win over Grand Rapids.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard wasn't particularly efficient from the floor during Thursday's matchup, but he was perfect from the charity stripe and was one of two starters to score in double figures for the Cruise. However, he also committed a team-high six turnovers during the comeback victory.

Nembhard was waived by the Cavaliers on Saturday, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard inked a two-way deal earlier in the week, so it's surprising that he was waived. It's possible he still ends up in the G League.

Nembhard, who signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Cavaliers on July 3, missed his only field-goal attempt and was a minus-7 during his two minutes of court time in Wednesday's 105-99 exhibition win over the Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard finished his rookie campaign as one of the Cavaliers' two two-way players and was retained this summer on the same two-way deal. His outlook for playing time at the NBA level hasn't improved much from 2021-22, and he looks on track to spend the majority of his sophomore season in the G League.
