The Cavaliers waived Nembhard on Thursday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Cleveland upgraded Nembhard from a two-way contract to a standard NBA deal just one week ago, the undrafted rookie out of TCU will now lose his roster spot entirely. The Cavaliers elected to fill the opening on the 15-man roster by upgrading two-way player Moses Brown to a standard deal, which makes Brown eligible for the play-in tournament and postseason. Nembhard finishes his inaugural NBA campaign with averages of 1.2 points, 0.9 assists and 0.5 rebounds in 4.6 minutes per game over 13 appearances.
