Spalding logged 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and two steals across 23 minutes during the Vipers' 121-111 win over Santa Cruz on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Willie Cauley-Stein returned to the Vipers following his 10-day contract with Houston, but Spalding has been able to hold a starting spot in his absence. Spalding is not expected to be the best scorer but can still provide substantial contributions to the team.

Spalding logged 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes during the Vipers' 112-98 win Saturday against Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Spalding almost logged a double-double, but not in the way most expected. He was one assist short instead of a rebound shy. While the center is not expected to regularly log many assists, Willie Cauley-Stein signed a 10-day contract with the Houston Rockets on Monday, giving Spalding better opportunities.

Spalding logged 11 points (4-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, seven blocks, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Rio Grande Valley's 120-112 loss to South Bay on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Spalding put forward his best defensive display of the G League season so far. Willie Cauley-Stein was not with Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday, but it appears more likely he will be benched with how well Spalding played during his teammate's absence.

Spalding logged 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt), eight rebounds and three assists across 25 minutes during the Vipers' 129-121 win at Ontario on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Spalding was two rebounds short of logging a double-double. He and Willie Cauley-Stein are expected to continue competing for the Vipers' starting center position. Though Spalding was part of the lineup Wednesday, he is not the clear-cut favorite for that position. Cauley-Stein played three more minutes than Spalding did Wednesday.

Spalding (illness) logged nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four steals, two rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes during the Vipers' 112-107 win at Ontario on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Spalding is averaging 1.3 steals across 12 G League games, which is a pretty good rate for a backup center like him. Now that the big man is healthy, he is expected to continue being the Vipers' secondary center behind Willie Cauley-Stein.

Spalding (ankle) logged 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds, two steals and one assist across 25 minutes during the Vipers' 124-120 overtime win Tuesday against Mexico City.
EDGE Analysis
Spalding returned from a two-game absence caused by an ankle injury. Despite not being part of the Vipers' starting lineup, he is expected to be a part of it again across their future games. In that case, center Willie Cauley-Stein will be demoted to the bench again.

Spalding (back) logged nine points (4-7 FG, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block across 26 minutes during the Vipers' 122-117 loss Tuesday at Oklahoma City.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately for Spalding, he sat out only one game because of his previous back injury. Spalding was only one point short of logging a double-double, which the center can continue flirting with now that he is healthy.
