Ray Allen won't play against the Bobcats on Wednesday due to a stinger in his right shoulder. Allen hurt the shoulder late in Miami's Christmas Day game against OKC. We're a little surprised he's sitting out Wednesday considering he only missed one possession. Still, this doesn't seem to be a major issue so those in daily leagues should remove him from your lineup for tonight. Expect to see more of Mike Miller and Shane Battier with Allen sidelined. James Jones could also see some time off the bench.

Ray Allen suffered a right shoulder injury late in the fourth quarter and finished with three points, four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes against the Thunder on Tuesday. He got a hard screen from Kendrick Perkins and missed just one offensive possession for Miami. We highly doubt this injury should impact his status for Wednesday's game at Charlotte. On a down note, Ray's minutes have dipped to just 20.4 minutes per game over his last five contests. He hit 1.4 triples and had 1.0 steals in that span, so he was still able to hold his value in standard leagues.

Ray Allen shot well on Saturday, making 4-of-6 FGs to finish with 11 points, three 3-pointers and two assists, but he was held to a season-low 16 minutes. Shane Battier, Norris Cole and Mike Miller all played more than Ray off the bench in this game, but we don't expect that to become a trend. Erik Spoelstra is playing around with new lineups, and with other reserves playing well he probably just saw an opportunity to rest his veteran SG. We expect him to bounce back vs. the Hawks on Monday.

Ray Allen scored just nine points while adding six boards, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes against the Knicks on Thursday. Allen made 2.4 treys per game in his five games prior to tonight and this was just his second game without knocking one down from beyond the arc. He is playing over 27 minutes per game and holding mid-round value in fantasy leagues.

Despite being a game-time decision on Thursday, Ray Allen (back) played well off the bench with 20 points and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes vs. the Spurs. Allen was dealing with a sore back and it's a good sign to see him play well. Although, his owners should be aware that the 37-year-old guard is going to have to rest every once in a while. Hopefully for Miami's sake, the day he needs to rest doesn't come on a Thursday night.

Ray Allen may miss Thursday's game due to a sore back. Players are dropping out of this Spurs-Heat matchup right and left. We should get official word on Allen's status before tipoff, but at this point the injury doesn't sound like a long-term cause for concern. Allen is averaging 12.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 3s per game this season.

Ray Allen made four 3-pointers and had 17 points, three rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes in a 113-106 win over the Bucks on Wednesday. Jesus Shuttlesworth didn't really have game in his last three contest by making a combined two 3-pointers in that span. Tonight was a good sign, but his name value probably carries more than his fantasy value.

Ray Allen was quiet in 26 minutes on Thursday with just nine points, three boards, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. Ray was surprisingly quiet with Dwyane Wade out of the lineup. Tonight was the second game in row where he's only made one 3-pointer and the third in his last four. He is logging 27 minutes per game on the season and should flirt with two threes per game with his new team.

Ray Allen hit three 3-pointers on Friday against the Hawks, scoring 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting with one rebound and one assist in 24 minutes off the bench. Allen is cruising along with early round value and if he can stay healthy he has a shot at destroying his ADP.
