Neto had 22 points (9-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 157-153 double-overtime loss to San Antonio.
EDGE Analysis
Neto was efficient from the field en route to a season-high 22 points, and he also dished out a career-high nine assists, finishing one short of his first career double-double. The veteran point guard has drawn six consecutive starts since the Wizards traded away Spencer Dinwiddie ahead of the trade deadline. During that stretch, Neto has averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 29.5 minutes. He's poised to continue garnering a large role for Washington during the final month and a half of the season.

Nero scored 21 points (7-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT) while adding six assists and one rebound in 31 minutes during Thursday's 113-112 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
With Spencer Dinwiddie traded to the Mavericks and Bradley Beal (wrist) out for the season, Neto got the start at point guard for the first time this season and wound up leading the Wizards in scoring while setting a new season high for himself. Washington did pick up Ish Smith at the deadline to join the backcourt rotation, but Neto figures to remain in the starting five for the time being.

Neto will start Thursday's contest against the Nets, Kareem Copeland reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neto will likely start to see an increased role with former teammate Spencer Dinwiddie traded to Dallas before the NBA's trade deadline Thursday. The Wizards did acquire Ish Smith to fill their backup point guard void, however, Smith won't play Thursday after just getting traded. Expect Neto to remain the Wizards' starting point guard for the foreseeable future.

Neto (coach's decision) didn't see the court Saturday in the Wizards' 115-95 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Neto was cut out of head coach Wes Unseld Jr.'s rotation for the second game in a row, with Washington opting to go with Corey Kispert (25 minutes) and Aaron Holiday (five minutes) as its primary backcourt reserves. The Wizards could elect to break Neto back in on the second unit at some point, but it'll likely take injuries to multiple guards before he sees enough minutes to become a relevant fantasy option in deeper leagues.

Neto registered 15 points (7-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 112-106 victory over the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Neto had scored only six points combined over the previous three games, but he came on strong during the first half Wednesday with nine points. The 29-year-old plays a consistent role as a reserve guard in Washington's rotation, but his per-game averages of 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists don't offer much fantasy upside despite the occasional scoring burst.

Neto will be limited to approximately 30 minutes in Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Spencer Dinwiddie (conditioning) remains out Wednesday, Neto will come off the bench once again in Wednesday's matchup and will have his playing time monitored following his five-game absence. He's averaged 8.5 points and 2.9 assists in 20.9 minutes per game since the start of December.

Neto (COVID-19 protocols) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Neto returned to practice Monday, and everything apparently went well, as he'll be available to return Wednesday. With the team still shorthanded in the backcourt, Neto could see increased usage.

Neto cleared the NBA's health and safety protocols and returned to practice Monday, Ava Wallace of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neto has been sidelined since Dec. 26 due to COVID-19 protocols, but coach Wes Unseld said Monday that he hopes Neto is available Wednesday. On the season, the backup point guard is averaging 7.8 points, 2.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds across 20.2 minutes per game.

Neto was placed in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and won't be available for Sunday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Neto joins Bradley Beal and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as Wizards players currently in the NBA's COVID-19 protocols. The 29-year-old has been a valued member of the second unit this season, averaging 7.8 points, 2.6 assists and two rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game. Unless he tests out of the protocol early, Neto will likely be sidelined for 10 days, missing multiple games along the way.

Neto totaled 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists over 29 minutes during Saturday's 109-103 win over Utah.
EDGE Analysis
Neto enjoyed one of his better performances of the campaign, leading Washington reserves with 15 points while chipping in seven boards and four dimes. The veteran has notched back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts, but he lacks the consistency in any area that would make him a viable fantasy asset.
