He's poised to continue garnering a large role for Washington during the final month and a half of the season.

With Spencer Dinwiddie traded to the Mavericks and Bradley Beal (wrist) out for the season, Neto got the start at point guard for the first time this season and wound up leading the Wizards in scoring while setting a new season high for himself. Washington did pick up Ish Smith at the deadline to join the backcourt rotation, but Neto figures to remain in the starting five for the time being.

Neto will likely start to see an increased role with former teammate Spencer Dinwiddie traded to Dallas before the NBA's trade deadline Thursday. The Wizards did acquire Ish Smith to fill their backup point guard void, however, Smith won't play Thursday after just getting traded. Expect Neto to remain the Wizards' starting point guard for the foreseeable future.
