Patrick Patterson fought off early foul trouble to finish Tuesday's win with a season-high 22 points to go along with five rebounds, his sixth straight game to score in double figures. Patterson has quietly become an effective power forward and is worth a roster spot in all leagues. He had it easy tonight against Andrea Bargnani and the Raps, but is also playing well against more formidable defensive opponents. Just don't expect many blocks, as he has just three of them over his last six games.

Patrick Patterson set his season-high scoring for the second straight night on Wednesday against the Bulls, putting up 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting with eight rebounds, one steal, and one block in 38 minutes. Patterson should get more consideration than normal after his recent strong play, but his overall inconsistency shouldn't be ignored when making decisions. He should be owned in most 12-team formats.

Patrick Patterson scored a season-high 19 points on Monday against the Jazz, but managed just one rebound to go with two blocks in 21 minutes. This has been the story all season for Patterson, who hit 8-of-14 shots (including a three), as he disappears in a handful of categories each night. If he could ever put it all together he could be a nice fantasy play, but for now he's a just a low-end play in 12-team formats.

Patrick Patterson had a mixed game on Friday, scoring 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting (including a three) with just two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 32 minutes. The inconsistency across statistical categories has been Patterson's downfall, and there was plenty of that going on tonight. He's a deep league asset only at this time.

Patrick Patterson had just six points and five rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Hornets. He hit 3-of-4 shots and played 34 minutes, so we're not sure what the problem was. Patterson had 17 points and nine boards in 36 minutes on Monday, so don't give up on him after this stinker. Marcus Morris continued his strong play off the bench with 13 points, two boards and three blocks in 25 minutes, and the two bigs seem to be heading for a timeshare when Morris is playing well.

Patrick Patterson scored 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting (0-for-1 3PTs) with nine rebounds, one assist, and one block in 36 minutes on Monday. Patterson is providing borderline value in 14-team leagues after a particularly bad weekend, but tonight's line shows he has a pulse. He's on the standard league radar if you need a big man.

Patrick Patterson dropped off the map on Saturday, posting two points and two rebounds just 16 minutes. Patterson has some tentative upside as the starting PF in Houston, but Marcus Morris is already cutting into his action and Royce White may eventually do the same. He's probably worth owning, but we wouldn't keep Patterson at the cost of another hot FA.

Patrick Patterson scored eight points on 4-of-10 shooting (0-for-1 3PTs) with four rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes on Friday against the Grizzlies. Patterson's issues in the past have been versatility, so the lack of a steal or block is a reminder of those problems, but this is a good enough line to keep his value steady. He should be owned in most 12-team formats.

Patrick Patterson had 18 points, five rebounds and a block in 30 minutes on Wednesday. He's back, healthy and starting, so it's time to give him a serious look in all leagues. He's still not a must-own player, but he looks like the power forward of choice this season for Kevin McHale.

Patrick Patterson (quad) returned to action on Friday, scoring nine points on 4-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 29 minutes. If Patterson is going to continue to shoot threes then sign us up, as he didn't attempt a single three last season and averaged just 0.4 steals and 0.6 blocks per game in 23 mpg. He deserves consideration as a speculative add in 12-team leagues for the hopes this wasn't a one-time thing.
