The Kings lost to the Warriors by two points on Sunday, despite Patrick Patterson's 8-of-8 shooting display off the bench. He notched 18 points, including two 3-pointers, to go along with seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. His last big night, a 21-point game vs. the Clippers in late November, was followed up by two games in which he averaged 4.0 points with a combined one assist and one block. For Patterson to have reliable value, it will likely take a promotion to the starting unit and/or an injury to Jason Thompson.

Patrick Patterson scored 21 points off the bench for the Kings on Saturday with seven boards, one assist, two steals and one turnover in 32 minutes. Jason Thompson continues to falter and scored just six points in 10 minutes in the loss to the Clippers. Meanwhile, Patterson has played in at least 25 minutes per game since returning from a knee injury on Nov. 20 and looks to be back in the mix to get most of the minutes at power forward. He does appear to have more value than Thompson, but neither player deserves much attention in standard leagues yet.

Patrick Patterson returned from a knee injury on Tuesday and had 10 points, five rebounds and a 3-pointer off the bench for the Kings. He lost his starting job to Jason Thompson and as long as he's coming off the Kings bench, he should be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues.

Kings big man Patrick Patterson is expected to play on Tuesday against the Suns. He missed Sunday's game with a bruised left knee cap but will give it a go tonight. He'll come off the bench behind new starter Jason Thompson, as usual.

Patrick Patterson (bruised left knee cap) will not play against the Grizzlies on Sunday. He tried to warm up for the game and has been ruled out one hour prior to tip. Patterson suffered the injury on Friday and was able to walk back to the locker room under his own power, so he should be ready for Tuesday's game against the Suns. Jason Thompson will likely pick up some extra playing time in a starting role.

Patrick Patterson left Friday's game during the first quarter after appearing to knock knees with Travis Outlaw and his return is questionable. Owners will want to keep a close eye on the situation and if it turns out serious then Jason Thompson will be worth an add. Anything less serious would obviously give owners pause in standard formats, considering how Thompson and Patterson have been mediocre in their timeshare this season.

Updating a previous item, Patrick Patterson is starting at power forward on Saturday. Jason Thompson was listed as the starter, but Patterson was on the floor when the game started. There really wasn't much impact either way, so the change in the lineup is more or less inconsequential.

Patrick Patterson started again for the Kings and had seven points, nine rebounds, two steals and a 3-pointer in 31 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Hawks. Patterson is sharing time with Jason Thompson and had his best game of the season tonight, recording season highs in most categories. He's still not a must-own player, and the time share isn't ideal for fantasy, so just keep an eye on him.

Patrick Patterson started in Friday's win over the Clippers, scoring nine points on 3-of-5 shooting with three rebounds and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes. Owners should get used to some variation of tonight's playing time and production split between Patterson and Jason Thompson (nine points, eight rebounds, 27 minutes). It's also looking possible that Patterson starts with Thompson coming off the bench, or at least that's what the Sacramento media thinks is best. It makes sense, as Patterson can stretch the floor for Cousins, and either way look for the two to trade off useful lines.

Patrick Patterson started for the Kings on Wednesday and hit 4-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, and eight rebounds. Jason Thompson came off the bench for nine points, six rebounds and a block in 24 minutes, and it looks like the duo will split minutes at power forward this season. They are both helped, however, by the hip injury that will keep Carl Landry out for at least half the season.
