Patrick Patterson (elbow) will be re-evaluated on Monday in the hopes that he can return next week. He wasn't able to practice on Saturday and owners should get at least one more above-average game from Amir Johnson and Tyler Hansbrough on Sunday. It sounds as though Patterson could return as soon as Tuesday's road game in Atlanta.

Patrick Patterson was diagnosed with a right ulnar collateral sprain on Sunday and will be reevaluated in 7-10 days. That ligament is famous in baseball for pitchers getting Tommy John surgery and it is to his shooting elbow, so he could need more than the 7-10 days. Patterson has played well in his past two games and the Raptors will likely have to use a little more of Tyler Hansbrough. Amir Johnson's value is also solidified with this news.

Patrick Patterson played without a mask on Thursday during a 134-129 triple-overtime loss to the Wizards, scoring five points with four boards, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer. He fouled out in his 23 minutes of action and turned in a solid line considering he scored just five points. Amir Johnson hurt his ankle again tonight, but it doesn't sound serious enough to keep him out on Sunday night. Patterson isn't necessarily a pickup just yet.

Coach Dwane Casey said on Wednesday Patrick Patterson will be able to play without a mask soon. He was expected to wear a mask for four weeks dating back to Feb. 9, so he looks to be ahead of schedule. He's shot just 42.1 percent from the field since that day, which is down from his 47.3 percent prior to sporting the mask. His minutes have fallen off and it's going to be hard for him to have fantasy value while Amir Johnson is at full strength.

Patrick Patterson scored just two points during Sunday's 109-95 win against the Magic with six boards, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 21 minutes. Amir Johnson went down with an ankle injury, but it's not considered serious. If it wasn't to his ankle which has bothered him all February, there would not be many implications from the injury. However, Amir's right ankle has been a major issue and has zapped a lot of his energy, so Pat "Two Pat" Patterson is worth a look as a speculative add.

Patrick Patterson will move back to the bench for Friday's game against the Cavs. He had a great run on as the starting power forward, but it's likely over for now. Patterson is really a great fit as the second-unit power forward for his offense as a centerpiece, but the move to the bench will hurt his fantasy value a bit.

Patrick Patterson started over Amir Johnson and had 10 points, six rebounds, three steals and a block on 4-of-7 shooting in 34 minutes on Tuesday. Amir Johnson returned from his ankle injury and had 14 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 24 minutes off the bench, as the timeshare is on. Both players are worth a look by owners in need of a power forward, but it would not be surprising to see Patterson hold the starting job going forward.

Patrick Patterson will start at PF again on Tuesday, despite the return of Amir Johnson (ankle). Patterson is averaging 8.8 points, 1.0 threes, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals in eight starts this season, and he's likely to split PF minutes with Johnson somewhat evenly. Those numbers probably aren't good enough to help standard-league owners, so consider your options carefully before committing to Patterson.

Patrick Patterson had 14 points, six rebounds and a 3-pointer in 31 minutes on Wednesday, and started again for injured Amir Johnson (ankle). Owners who scooped him up in daily leagues were hoping for more, but it certainly could have been worse. Johnson will have the All-Star break to heal up, but Patterson should be in an even minutes share with him going forward. And unfortunately, that isn't great news for either player's fantasy value.

Patrick Patterson will start for the second consecutive game on Wednesday vs. the Hawks. On Monday, the Raptors used him on the perimeter a ton with five of his seven field goals coming as spot-up jumpers. Patterson also had a post-up bucket and a score on pick-and-roll as a big part of the offense on his way to a season-high 22 points. He won't have to deal with Anthony Davis this time and might play a little closer to the basket, so get him in your lineup.
